For anyone reading: the charge here wasn't an extra or duplicate fee. It was the standard charge for app usage after the free trial ended. Because billing is handled entirely by Shopify, this type of charge appears on the merchant's next Shopify billing cycle even after an app is uninstalled, which can make it look unexpected. The subscription was fully cancelled, and we also issued a credit for the unused remaining time as a goodwill gesture.
For context, this inquiry came in on a Sunday and we replied right away, we genuinely try to be responsive and respectful in every conversation. I'm sorry if my tone came across otherwise.
