Update: This review was left after using the app for a very short time, and before the onboarding was ever completed (as publicly shown by Shopify here). Since then, we've reached out several times to help, to understand the feedback, and to explain a likely misunderstanding, because the app actually does exactly what this merchant was looking for (on our paid plans). We haven't received a reply yet. We'd still love the chance to help if they ever want to reach back out.

Thanks for trying Orbe, and I'm sorry your first experience wasn't what you expected.

I think there is a misunderstanding as the app does exactly what you're looking for.

What you saw is actually the intended behavior on the Free plan: the welcome popup shows to every visitor so it can confirm and save their country and language preference. The popup won't appear again on subsequent visits. It will render automatically the localized experience for the customer.

The behavior you were looking for, where the popup only appears for visitors who land in the wrong country experience, is available on our paid plans, so the app can do exactly what you wanted.
