UP ‑ Customer Referral Program

We tested the UP Refer a Friend Store Credit app on our Shopify store for a few hours to evaluate its suitability.

The app appears to be simple and focused, making it easy to understand and quick to set up. It has the potential to work well for stores looking for a basic referral setup without too many complexities.

However, we faced a couple of limitations that influenced our decision not to continue. There is no option to customize the widgets, and the inability to change widget positioning makes it difficult to align with store design and user experience requirements. Additionally, our interaction with the support team was not very helpful during the evaluation phase.

Due to these factors, we decided to uninstall the app after a short trial. With improvements in customization and support responsiveness, the app could become a stronger option for more tailored use cases.
