Running a clothing D2C brand without COD isn't realistic in India. But managing returns on COD orders was killing us—RTOs, wrong size guesses, "not as pictured" rejections, customers who just wanted free shipping.

We were burning ₹40K-50K/month on returns alone. That's money we should be reinvesting in creative.

What changed with COD Guard:

The OTP verification step actually works—it's not annoying, it's smart. We saw fake/test orders drop immediately. But the bigger win is the address validation. Half our RTOs were incomplete addresses or pincode mismatches that we only discovered after shipping. COD Guard catches these before the order even hits our fulfillment queue.

The team behind this understands clothing brands specifically. They know our conversion math, our COD dependency, and that every ₹100 we save on returns is ₹100 we can spend on ads (which I do with Divyanshu's help anyway).

Setup was 10 minutes. No dev work needed on our end.

Numbers: In 6 weeks, our RTO rate dropped from 18% to 11%. That's not just feel-good—that's ₹35K back in our pocket monthly.

Only downside: MSG91 integration took some back-and-forth, but support was responsive.
