One thing I really like about Provido is that it doesn't just tell us what to reorder — it explains why. Being able to see things like demand, stock cover and reorder points makes the recommendations much easier to understand and trust. For us, that's much more useful than having a black-box forecast where we're just expected to accept the suggested quantity.
Thanks. That is the decision the whole app is built around.
The forecasting is deterministic maths rather than AI, so the same sales history always gives the same recommendation, and any quantity can be traced back to the figures behind it. AI only writes the explanation in words. It never sets the number.
If you ever look at the working and disagree with it, tell me. That is the most useful thing a merchant can send.
