I was extremely excited to get a RFID solution to handle our inventory. It was advertised as integrated with Shopify which was the main reason we moved forward with Tagmatiks. Unfortunately it seems there software is in its early stages of development, and doesn't have the most basic functions of any inventory solution i've used in my lifetime.

Tagmatiks does not sync in realtime with purchase orders from Shopify, also, when you sell an item it doesn't automatically remove the associated RFID tag (apparently a shopify limitation) a limitation nonetheless. The process to initially load our inventory to Tagmatiks was painful, and ultimately unsuccessful. In the end, i was informed we would basically need to run two sets of inventory applications, Tagmatiks, and shopify, and that is not integration if you ask me and should have been explained before ordering thousands of dollars of equipment that i cannot return and am now stuck with! Mind you, the hardware is unused and still brand new, and they still refused to return it, despite their lack of informing me of the limitations and requirement to run 2 applications to use their "integrated" software"

This is not true integration, save yourself the hassle, and headache. I have now been working with SimpleRFID.

Danny,
We are disappointed by this review, particularly because it does not accurately reflect the extensive support, demonstrations, and efforts our team has made to help you successfully implement TagMatiks Retail.
Throughout our engagement, you raised several questions and concerns about the functionality needed for your inventory operations. Our team has addressed these concerns and demonstrated how you can accomplish the requested workflows using TagMatiks Retail. We have spent considerable time walking you through the functionality, explaining the processes, and answering your questions.
Even after this review was posted, we continued scheduling additional sessions to demonstrate the functionality and assist you with implementation. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, there has been very limited initiative on your side to actually configure, test, and validate what our team has demonstrated.
A successful RFID implementation requires active participation from both parties. While our team can provide the technology, demonstrations, training, and technical guidance, the customer must also dedicate time to learning the application, testing the workflows, and completing the necessary implementation steps.
Unfortunately, several of our scheduled sessions have also been affected by late arrivals, repeated interruptions, and limited engagement, making it difficult to make meaningful progress. During our most recent follow-up, it became apparent that the workflows we had previously demonstrated had still not been meaningfully tested or validated on your side.
Regarding your comments about Shopify integration, TagMatiks Retail is designed to work alongside Shopify, providing RFID-specific inventory capabilities that Shopify does not natively offer. Having a dedicated RFID application that integrates with Shopify does not mean the systems are disconnected or that the integration is incomplete.
We believe there is an important distinction between functionality that does not exist and functionality that has already been demonstrated but has not been properly evaluated or implemented by the customer.
We take customer feedback seriously and remain committed to supporting our customers. However, we also believe it is important to present an accurate account of the support provided and recognize that successful implementation requires a genuine commitment of time and effort from both sides.
Best, TagMatiks Team
