Scan and Ship is designed especially for merchants who have multiple orders going out each day and spend far too much time checking and rechecking the order to make sure its right.
Running Scan and Ship means that each order is automatically checked before it is sent. It checks that the correct items have been packaged and in the correct quantity so you can be sure that the customer will get what they ordered.
Scan and Ship takes away the manual labor of having to double check your orders. It checks everything for you so that your customers receive the products they ordered in the correct quantity.
Scan and ship allows you to:
- Scan a barcode on the invoice / packaging slip to recall an order for shipping
- Scan the barcode on the products to be shipped, Scan and Ship will check the correct products and quantities are being shipped
- Scan a barcode on the address label to ensure the correct envelope is being used.
- Scan the tracking ID and the order will be marked as shipped in Shopify and an email sent to the customer

We love this app for reducing incorrect items being sent out! We love that you can verify if an order was scanned because it puts a 'checked' tag in the order tags field. We've also requested a couple features and Paul worked quickly to accommodate and implement our requests!

Unfortunately this app is lacking an important feature. If a product is out of stock and you wish to fulfill it later, it will not allow you to proceed with the partial packing list. So for products that are on back order this is useless. If it had that feature, we would definitely use it.
Sorry the app didn't work out for you . I'm working on the partial shipments feature and that will be available in the next few months. I'll let you know when it's available .
Hi, I've been trying to get in touch with someone for this app. The number is not connected, I sent an email and no response. I wanted to know which scanner is compatible to hook up for this app. Also, can this be done paperless by typing the order number in the box?? Rather than printing hundreds of Invoices. Please get back to me, I would love to install this app.

The app will work with any barcode scanner that acts as an additional keyboard for the computer, which most barcode scanners do.
