Price Embedded Barcode Scanner

Exactly what a sell-by-weight shop needs. We sell bbq dried meat by weight across our retail outlets, and getting weighed items into the Shopify POS cart used to mean manual entry at the counter, slow during peak periods and easy to fumble. This app fixed that. We scan the price/weight-embedded barcode from our label-printing scale and the line item drops straight into the cart with the right weight and price, every time. Setup was straightforward, it handles our per-100g pricing and tax settings without fuss, and the supplemental sales reporting is a useful bonus that native POS doesn't give us. But the standout has honestly been the support, quick, knowledgeable replies whenever we've had a question, not canned responses. If you run a butcher, deli, or any counter that prices by weight on Shopify POS, this is close to essential. Highly recommended.

Downloaded this app to use in our deli store with our shopify pos. Easy to install and understand. Now we can easily service customers when using our hobart quantum meat scale. Print the barcode and go straight to Pos and use our socket barcode reader to read all details frok the Hobart printed label. Scan it and it inputs all the data right into pos checkout. Easy and makes everything very simple and straight forward!.

Amazing customer service; they help me transition from my old system to Shopify, even creating updates to attend to me. I highly recommend this app.

I run a store selling frozen food, having a solution for me to enable the Shopify to read the PLU barcode is absolutely essential for checking out the weight based product. Glad to find this solution. At first I had a compatibility issue with this app which it could only read a 5 digit SKU but all my products carry 6 digit SKU, emailed to the supporting team and the response was quick and in a day or two they resolved this problem altogether for me to run this app. Highly recommended if you sell weight based product as well.

I installed the Beta version of the Price Embedded Barcode Scanner and it's great. The installation was simple and it was working within minutes with the Socket scanner.
We're a small butcher shop and bakery and we do hundreds of custom order entries per day on the POS. This app is going to save us a lot of time at the checkout and eliminate entry errors. Great job Filljoy team!
