SellRules: Preorder & Deposit

Run pre-orders and made-to-order by date and stock. Take a deposit and charge the balance later.

Set selling rules per product and SellRules applies them to the buy button, checkout, orders and emails. Choose when to sell, from announcement to pre-order or made-to-order, live sale and end. Choose what happens when stock runs out, and who can buy how many. Choose how customers pay: in full, or a deposit now with the balance charged to their saved payment method when due. If that fails, they get a payment link and you're notified. They can cancel from the reminder email for a deposit refund.

• Take a deposit at checkout and charge the balance automatically on its due date.
• When stock runs out, switch to pre-orders or a waitlist and back on restock.
• Cap purchases per order or customer, require login or a tag, exclude variants.
• Collect waitlist sign-ups and email customers in 9 languages when items return.
