Shadow COD protects COD revenue in two ways. It builds a per-store risk profile for each buyer based on their return history and hides COD at checkout only for confirmed returners — good and first-time buyers are never affected. It also asks every buyer placing a COD order to verify their phone via SMS OTP before checkout, stopping fake-number and address-not-found orders before they ship. A risk dial and manual allow/block lists give merchants full control.

It is a must have application if you are selling through Shopify. Really like the approach. It doesn’t block every COD customer, just the ones with a history of returning orders.
