Some shoppers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or Copilot what to buy, then land on your store and order. Shopify records the referring site for those sessions, but the admin does not separate AI assistants from ordinary referrals. Shelfglance reads that referrer and reports it plainly: how many orders came from each assistant, what they were worth, and whether it is growing. No tracking script and no theme edits.
