Provides some useful actionable information, but the support documentation is non-existent (the app points you to shopify for support, which points you back to the app...). I can't figure out how credits are distributed (monthly?) or if you can buy more ad-hoc. There's no information on what the difference is when specifying different target areas for a simulation (i.e. if I select to focus on cart and home page, does that mean I'm getting less quantitative or qualitative data?), there's no way to export simulation results, and there's no way to customize simulation shoppers (I had several searching for products I don't carry, and the recommendations were entirely unhelpful for providing alternative products. This was basically a waste of a credit since I can't provide information regarding my average shopper and ideal shopper). It's a cool concept, but kinda poorly executed.
Complete garbage!!! Did not understand my brand at all, searched for things we do not even sell, and insisted that our search was broken. Also, claimed our Checkout button is broken, when it is clearly not. I can go on BrowserStack and check it across multiple devices and browsers and clearly see that the Checkout button works. Maybe bots are too dumbs to figure out how to checkout. Overall, a complete waste of time. No one should ever pay for this app for any reason.
Does not work. I've been stuck on "scheduled" for 2 days. There is no customer support available. Not worth it.
Tremendous potential - but pay attention to your target audience, Shopify. Much of your value proposition centers around small to medium sized businesses who don't have access to highly experienced web teams - the very thing that makes Shopify so wonderful! These results from these simulations are useless without easy execution paths both understandable and executable for the average Shopify user.
It is an interesting idea and fun to test, but in its current form, the results are too unreliable to serve as a basis for decision-making. Several AI users misinterpreted the product variant displays, believing a purchasable variant was out of stock—even though the available option was clearly marked and could be added to the cart. This led to reports of issues that did not actually exist.
The concept has potential and the simulations are interesting to watch, but the app needs to get much better at interpreting standard product and variant interfaces before the results can be considered useful for CRO or store improvements.
Thanks for trying SimGym. I'm sorry SimGym didn't meet your expectations. Our team is continuously working to improve the output of simulations so recommendations can be more reliable for decision making. If you'd like to discuss your simulations further, please reach out to Shopify Support (https://help.shopify.com/).
Interessantes Konzept, konnte viele gute Denkanstöße mitnehmen.
Very useful for identifying credible solutions to website flow, product analysis. Overall, very pleased with the problem-solving solutions provided. All suggestions have been valid so far.
Thanks for the review. This is great to hear, especially that the suggestions held up against your validation. Thanks for taking SimGym beyond a quick scan and sharing the win with us.
Doesn't seem useful. The suggestions are very generic.
Thanks for trying SimGym and sharing your feedback. AI shopper agents are instructed to navigate your store and offer tailored insights based on their interactions. Please share details with us via Shopify Support (https://help.shopify.com/) and we'd love to look into the recommendations for your store.
