Simple Map

My map hasn't updated since the day I installed it years ago. Tried to contact developer many times with issue but never resolved. Meh, for free it looks pretty so I can't complain to much.

Update 03/15/2025 - I changed the max value from 500 to 499 and my map data reloaded with current information. Woo-Hoo!

Love it when it works, but it rarely loads successfully.

I love this app! It automatically creates a beautiful display on my website and creates social proof that helps convert leads into customers.

The app can't handle 250 product images. Also, had trouble saving, says "server error". Hoping to get our money back. Great concept but the app developers need to work out the bugs.

Very cool. It shows some valuable social proof that my company is not some fly-by-night business. The only downside I can find is that the map loads very slowly at times and takes several seconds to show.

I love this app! It's perfect for helping customers find my work locally across the country. I had a small issue while setting up the app within a purchased theme in Shopify, but Chris from Simple Map's support team helped me resolve it quickly and easily, with detailed information that even a beginner website builder like me could understand and fix. Super happy with the results!

Really good looking map, but it has a few drawbacks:
- One can only choose US map, Canada map, or World map. Where is Europe, or the other continents?
- It can only show up to the last 250 sales locations.
- One can only create 1 map for the entire website (it would be nicer to be able to choose let's say, 1 US map + 1 Europe map, instead of just the world map, that would look overly empty, as we don't ship to other locations.

We dropped this into our "Reviews" page to go along with the good reviews we get, and give a bot more social proof. It loads quickly on desktop and mobile, and really gives your store a little extra. We have started with the free version, which still allowed us to choose the number of "pins" (we went for 100) and colour (we went for green).

"Pretty great app, except for the fact that to edit the map I have to uninstall the app and reinstall. We sell a well known brand and use it as a store locator for people to know where to find them but whenever I want to edit a store it doesn't allow me to edit the current map. Wish it would be easier to edit." This was my last review however I have found the solution and have changed the review to reflect this. The fix to this is to allow pop-ups from shopify, if pop-ups are disabled the editing window will not show up. Allow pop-ups on shopify and you will have no issue editing your map. Great App!

Perhaps the best application if you need to show worldwide orders to your customers , good Map customization, it's a pity only 500 orders limited, but I hope these guys will upgrade it soon ... Regards,
