Great free app with excellent support – but search accuracy could improve

For a free app, this is fantastic. It’s fully customizable, and the support is truly first-class.

Our only issue is with the search functionality. The results aren’t always 100% accurate. For example, we sell video games, and if you search for "Unreal," it will show Unreal 2 and Unreal Tournament. However, if you search for "Unreal Tournament," it will omit Unreal 2, while also showing unrelated titles.

This means that unless a customer searches for either a very specific title or a broad term, they might miss relevant products.

Aside from this, it’s a five-star app.

I must be the customer from Hell! I asked Customer Support if this app could achieve what I needed. I spoke (via email) to Ajit. He could tell I was struggling to understand the installation instructions (I'm a shopkeeper, not a Techy), so he offered to do the installation for me.

Fantastic! But I didn't realise the wide range of options this app provides. I must have gone back to him at least 6 times asking for amendments/deletions/relocations etc. And every time it was Ajit that replied, very patiently, and every time he did exactly what I asked of him.

I really felt very guilty doing this because was doing it all for free, including the app itself.

In the end, the app worked exactly as I wanted and I have nothing but praise for the support I received.

actually a great app just missing currency conversion based on customers ip, can only show the stores base currency, which is a shame as its right up there with the paid search apps, hopefully they sort this soon

I decided to uninstall this app because I noticed my website was loading slow, and as soon as I uninstall it, my collection's pages stopped loading, I have no idea what to do to fix it!

Great app and service.
I requested some custom things and this was done without any problems.
Don't hesitate, these people know how it's done!

This has really helped my shop for widen my search results and was exactly what I was looking for. I had some adjustments needed for use on my theme and the Simprosys Team took action right away to fix it accordingly. 5 star app and support, this is a keeper!

This search app is outstanding. It does exactly what it says it will do. And yes, it is free (Thank you Simprosys!!)
The only thing that would elevate this to 5 stars would be to include sitewide search - including Blogs. Then it would be 10 stars.
