Our experience with Skio has been great so far - the platform meets all our requirements and they are constantly deploying new exciting updates. Their customer service is truly fantastic... Sandro, our account rep, is incredibly knowledgeable and really goes over and above to help us and improve our subscription programme. Highly recommend!
Perfect experience with Skio! Great software that is very easy to use and lots of support onboarding. It has integrated perfectly into our Shopify store and Klaviyo flows. Customer experience is great and our new signups began to increase immediately.
Backstory on why we ended up with Skio... Our store has run a subscription for a few years, but we needed to migrate from our outdated platform. Our subscription has an unusual setup, and when I talked to everyone else to find out if we'd be compatible - they ran through their sales pitch and basically said, just change your model to align with how we work. Skio took the time to understand what we were doing, and brainstormed how we could use their tools (which are thorough, intuitive, and very flexible) to accomplish our particular subscription goals. Special thanks to Karl for all his help :)
So far so good! We have been impressed with the ease of use for our customers of the Skio Customer Portal. Overall pretty happy. The price is a little high for small shops so we will see if we stick with it but if it helps with customer retention it will hopefully be worth it! Would love to see pricing tear for smaller stores, maybe based on an orders processed per month tier model.
Skio is the future of subscriptions in my eyes. Love the product, attention to detail, and THE TEAM! Shoutout to Harris for a quick/painless migration! Passwordless login is also making our subscriber experience much better. Getting build-a-box right out of the box was also a big improvement to our subscriber experience, so we can showcase and let customers benefit from purchasing our variety of flavors.
Skio has been a great team & service to work with for supporting our subscription needs on Shopify. They offer a lot of features we didn't previously have (Analytics and automatic Dunning, for examples). They have excellent analytics tools, many APIs for integration in our own Customer Portal and have been quick to respond to our needs.
Atul at Skio provided absolutely amazing customer service, going above and beyond my expectations. He was able to help me set up automations & a new selling plan for our current promotion. Very fast response time and provided all the information necessary to feel confident in launching our new promotion. Thanks team!
Our move to Skio has by far been the best platform move we've ever done. They have an excellent onboarding process and go above and beyond to support the customer during onboarding. They didn't have an integration with our ESP, but they created the integration just for us (Cordial). They also wrote a custom import to import data from a subscription provider that they hadn't interfaced with before (Subscribe Pro). They were responsive to bug reports and they also delayed our billing since our move to Shopify was running late. I'm leaving out a lot more, but in summary, they go above and beyond for their customer.
Skio is one of my favorite vendors to work with. My rep (Sandro) is always available for questions, offers optimizations, and offered additional calls when I needed help. I haven't used any other subscription platforms, and don't need to look for any other options! We've seen a huge increase in subscription revenue in my first month.
DUDE. We switched over from ReCharge because we couldn't answer simple questions like: "What's the average number of subscription orders?" and "what's the subscriber LTV over 6 months? 12 months?"
We switched to Skio, and bam, easy as pie. The analytics dashboard tells me everything I need to know and more. Practically every metric that I have any interest in I can find with ease.
In addition, the Buy Box is STELLAR and modern, with no coding. It's so easy to create subscription offers, and that makes my job running the business 10x easier.
Do I recommend Skio? WITHOUT QUESTION. Don't think twice. As their sales team for a demo, and prepare to be wowed.
I can't speak highly enough about our experience so far, Josiah who did our migration was really communicative and it went super smooth. So far we've had a few onboarding calls with Karl who's been able to help us set up various features that should solve a lot of our pain points that we were struggling with - optimising the customer portal to remove friction, setting up a cancellation flow to minimise churn, and surprise and delight to reward our customers. Super excited to see the potential uplift from this!
