Sledge: Product Filter, Review

We have been using Sledge actively for a while now, and I can confidently say that it is **one of the best apps we have ever used on the Shopify App Store**.

First and foremost, the **customer support is absolutely outstanding**. Every single request we had — whether it was a small adjustment or a complex, custom setup — was handled quickly, professionally, and with a true solution-oriented mindset. Instead of saying “this can’t be done,” the team focuses on **how to make it work**. They solved everything we asked for and often went beyond our expectations by offering even better alternatives.

The app itself is **powerful, stable, and extremely flexible**. It significantly improved our store’s filtering, search experience, and overall user journey. Performance-wise, it works flawlessly even with large product catalogs. Setup and customization are very smooth, and you can achieve advanced results without heavy technical knowledge.

From a pricing perspective, Sledge clearly stands out. Compared to similar apps offering the same level of features, **Sledge is much more affordable**. Considering the quality of the product and the level of customer support, the pricing is more than fair — honestly, it feels underpriced for what you get.

If you are looking to seriously upgrade your Shopify store’s search, filtering, and overall shopping experience, I can **highly recommend Sledge without hesitation**.

Please be aware: you will not believe what they have done. Do not trust this company or this app with your website. Without mixing emotions, we are outlining the issues one by one:

1.Without any warning, dispute, or incident — right as we entered Q4 — they uninstalled the Sledge app on their end. They did this without providing any notice and without responding to any of our emails. This is a clear violation of Shopify’s developer and merchant terms, and an extremely unprofessional move. They even did it without collaborator access, which directly violates the terms, and we will be filing a complaint.

2.When we attempted to reinstall the app, we received the error: “This app cannot be installed on this store.”

3. They repeatedly accessed our site from different IPs and VPNs. Shopify’s system flagged this as spam and blocked their IPs. They then assumed that we had blocked them. We even have emails where they admitted this. When we asked them to provide their IPs so we could check, they refused.

4.The support team does not respond to questions for days. When they do acknowledge issues, they admit them but do not fix anything.

5.The backend UI is extremely confusing, and although they say they will help, they never actually provide assistance.

6.Hamdan deliberately ignores emails. Hidayat Sagita, who uninstalled the app, is most likely the owner of the company. Their own website does not even have a contact page, and many of their pages are generic placeholders.

5.They run their services through offstack.io, but that site itself is just a single-page 404-like placeholder.

6.You cannot find any legitimate information about this company, which is a major red flag.

Have been exploring various filtering apps. Initially I did not like to UI of this app, but that was totally irrellevant: The developer could tune its functionality and design totally towards our needs. Not only that; we use a store with 21 languages. Some apps allow you to translate the headers of the different metafields we use but were not able to put the translated metafields from Shopify, but this one did! Initially our collections were loading a bit slower than with using the standard build in filtering from our theme, but guess what? they fixed that as well. It looks like I can ask support of this app anything and they have the skil and knowledge to do it. If I could give them 10 star, I would have done it.
