Merchants can use the built-in statistical engine or connect OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or Ollama. It combines product context, cart signals, and recent browsing to rank recommendations, tracks impressions, clicks, and add-to-cart events, and keeps privacy controls, engine selection, and recommendation limits inside Shopify.
