The majority of effort is spent getting customers to buy your product but that is only part of the equation. You also need to make sure that those customers, that you worked so hard to get, are happy with their purchase. The best way to keep them happy is to let them know what is going on. While tracking numbers are important they aren't enough. People want to know more.
The problem is where do you include this information. Where do you put it so you're sure that your customers will actually see it. Your customers are viewing the order status page to check on your order so why not put the information there.
With StatusNotes you can do just that. Put whatever information you want your customers to know right where they are most likely to see it. Do your orders take 4 days to ship? Put that on the order status page. Do you ship via UPS from Texas? Let them know on the order status page. We think this is such a simple and useful feature that we are giving it to you for free.
A note about the low rating from Bolovo. As an app developer you have to put up with a lot of crap out of fear of a negative review. With Bolovo I meet my breaking point. He was rude/abusive from our very first interaction. I knew that our encounter would lead to a bad review but I just couldn't take it anymore.
StatusNotes is a free app with over 1600 installs. Look at the rest of the reviews, everyone is happy with it. Even Bolovo has been using the app for over a year before emailing me. He even has the app installed now, after he called it crap. Toxic people like him are ruining the app store and are one of the main reasons why developers are leaving the platform.
If you have a problem with an app try to be at least cordial (especially if it's free). I understand that when an app doesn't work it's frustrating but that doesn't give you the right to be abusive. Explain your issue calmly without resorting to harsh language and you'd be surprised how quickly the issue can be resolved.
