Pick the moment your sale ends and Steady counts down to it — the same moment for every shopper, in your store's timezone, now or an hour from now. Shopify writes that moment into your page, so the countdown is there the instant the page opens and keeps running on its own. It is a block you place inside a section in the theme editor, not a bar across the top of your store, so it cannot cover a menu or a buy button. It never touches your theme's code, so removing the app removes it.
