Tax Rex ‑ Sales Tax Automation

TaxRex has been so helpful with the transition from the previous 3rd party filing service we had been using. Their communications are prompt and clear. The previous service left several of our state accounts a mess and difficult to get into. TaxRex, with their patience and expertise, helped us work through every one of them. Tax Rex takes all the guess work out of tracking and remitting Sales Tax for your Shopify store. We need to remit sales taxes each quarter and used to struggle staying on top of this. Now we don't even have to think about it! Tax Rex tracks the taxes in connection with Shopify Tax and then sends our payment to the state! Badabing.. badaboom!!

I would highly recommend someone else. I just got this from their support about their California tax reports not being broken down as they should (schedules A and B)

"he tax information from Shopify is same for all the states. Our app generates reports for all the states in a similar manner.

We cannot change the report to make it in the format of the Schedules or any other format for any specific states. We get autofile requests from California for several clients.

Our team converts the reports genearetd from the app to the very specific format for any state as might be required. They also manualy convert it to schedules A & B for California.

Basically they don't want you to access reports, they want you to buy their autofile service for $20 PER filing. If you have to file monthly, the price is going to be high. Suggest going somewhere else.
