Taxually

Terrible experience. I paid them for one year of service, and they often don't respond to my emails for three weeks at a time. They kept telling me they would assign me an account manager who would take care of everything and help me with all my questions, but they just kept delaying it. After eight months, nothing has changed.
I am now behind on my tax returns, and they keep blaming Shopify, claiming that Shopify provided incorrect data and that the returns were filed incorrectly. I even received a court notice from one U.S. state because I was so far behind on my tax filings. I genuinely believed everything was being handled properly based on what they had been telling me over email.
When they send you a Google Meet link so you can discuss the problems you're having, the meeting gets deleted the following week, and you can no longer contact them to arrange another meeting.
The worst part is the company's founder, Ida. She joins a call, promises solutions, and tells you she will email you the next steps. After that, you never hear from her again.
I strongly do not recommend this company. They have created a huge amount of additional work and stress for me, and I sincerely hope I can resolve the issues they have caused. Do yourself a favor and think twice before working with them. Save yourself the time, money, and stress.

Avoid! I had been using Taxually to handle submitting our IOSS returns for a couple of years. However, recently service has gone downhill.

We have been billed for services we did not ask for and the invoices for IOSS returns was over 12 months late.

They have also been very difficult when we requested to deregister IOSS with them so we could move to a new provider.

The Shopify sync also does not work.

We've been using Taxually for filing taxes in Europe for four years, and it consistently delivers high-quality service. While we've had a few issues, their customer support has always helped us resolve them satisfactorily. The team clearly understands their product, and the software significantly simplifies our workflow.

The app, which serves as an automation bridge between Taxually and Shopify, is particularly helpful, making integration seamless and efficient. It reduces manual work and saves us time.

The only downside is that their response time can sometimes be slow, and replies don't always arrive by the next business day. Despite this, the overall service and support make Taxually a valuable partner for managing our tax obligations. We highly recommend it to other businesses.
