Validate fibre names against the official EU catalogue, and record the French rules now in force.
Recording composition is easy; using accepted fibre names is not. Every fibre is checked against the official Annex I catalogue in EN, DE and FR, and trade names such as Lycra are flagged. France requires online textile listings to show places of manufacture on product pages. From 1 October 2026, merchants may also record a displayed environmental impact score with cited sources. EPR registration records for France and the Netherlands, plus an audit trail.
