It logs each edit with the old value, so a discount quietly changed from 10% to 100% or a collection emptied by a rule change is easy to spot. Catalog Health lists products missing images, alt text, a category or cost, and duplicate SKUs. Broken Link Redirects catches URLs that 404 after a product is renamed or deleted. Each tool asks for access only when turned on, and you set how long customer data is kept.
