The new Trustpilot Shopify app itself is ok - setup is straightforward and the Business review side works.
The product review widgets are another matter. They are completely outdated: the widget renders as a window inside the page instead of being embedded into the site, review images are small and open blurred on mobile, and review dates are not shown at all - which is a real problem for products with a long lifecycle.
I have submitted detailed, constructive feedback several times over the past 1.5 years. It gets acknowledged, and then nothing happens. Not a single meaningful update to the product review widgets in that time, despite improvements being promised.
For a subscription at this price point, that is not acceptable. Competing review apps at a fraction of the cost solve all of the above out of the box.
Trustpilot and their entire team have been absolutely incredible. Since implementing the platform, we have seen a significant uptick in both our conversion and click-through rates. We are extremely happy with both the product and the level of service provided. A well-deserved 5/5 stars!

A massive improvement on previous app. Makes adding Trustpilot widgets to your store a lot easier (can now be done in theme editor).
Yes, Trustpilot is expensive. But, you're paying to utilise a brand your customers know & trust, which is becoming more important with the prevalence of AI and fake reviews.
I only gave 5 stars, as we cannot use tagging feature with this app, which we are paying for. I think this is a big oversight by Trustpilot.

Ich habe die App installiert, und es öffnet sich einfach nicht. Es hat die ganze Zeit einen weißen Bildschirm und es funktioniert einfach gar nichts... Habe die app deinstalliert und ereut installiert und es funktioniert immer noch nicht..
Weil ich würde Trustpilot gerne benutzen, weil dass ein sehr Bekanntes Programm ist, aber wenn die App nicht funktioniert kann ich damit leider auch nicht Arbeiten.
Nachricht an Trustpilot: Bitte verbessert eure App, damit sie für ALLE Benutzer ordnungsgerecht funktioniert.

The new Trustpilot Widget is a world apart to the original for customisability!
Being able to add app block and custom CSS allows for far more unique use cases of injecting the widgets into the website, even allowing some to show on Mobile and not Desktop (and visa versa).
A much more intuitive and Shopify native way of working. Huge improvements!

I cannot even install the app. TrustPilot sends a code to my email to verify during log in but I dont get any code, its not in spam either. Have had this issue for a long time.

Har installerat appen men sidan är helt vit, har försökt att avinstallera och installera om appen flera gånger men resultatet blir det samma
