Shopify store has many apps that allow you to upsell before checkout. Such option as one click checkout upsell gives you a UNIQUE additional way to increase sales in just a few clicks. A post-purchase upsell is usually much more effective than other types of motivation for additional sales, such as a cross-sell block on a product page or offering a pop-up when the item is added to the cart. Why? Simply, if a customer has just made a purchase, they are full of positive emotions and your store is reliable for them, when they will see something else that is useful or just interesting, the chance of an additional purchase is much higher.
But that's not all. If you offer your customer an additional FREE gift, or product with a significant discount, for a small favor - share a list of purchases that just were made on Facebook, they are more likely do it. And here you get a double benefit - an additional sale and/or free advertising on Facebook among the customer's friends and subscribers.
You can also add gamification to this process and give even more emotion to your customers. You can make the gift private and unavailable to add to their cart until the customer has shared their purchase on Facebook. How does the "Upsell after Checkout" work?
Once the customer has completed the purchase, an additional block will be shown on the "Thank you page", where you are free to provide additional offers in different ways (it depends on admin panel settings):
- an open list of relevant upsell for products that a customer can buy immediately;
- an open list of relevant upsell for products that a customer can buy ONLY after sharing a list of purchases that were just made on Facebook;
- closed GIFT BOX, which opens one or several products behind it, but only when the customer has shared a list of purchases that were just made on Facebook.

Tip: if you want to motivate customers to share their purchases on Facebook, then we recommend a "free open GIFT" or "closed GIFT" as a reward, with a significant discount. If the discount is small, the customer can get upset as soon as the gift becomes open after sharing on Facebook.
