I’ve been using Upstack for about two weeks and the experience has been extremely frustrating.
First of all, support is basically non-existent. I’ve contacted Michael multiple times regarding dozens of warnings showing up in Events Manager, and he simply does not respond. When he does reply (rarely), it’s clear he hasn’t read my messages carefully and ignores the screenshots I provide.
Second, the tracking quality is seriously flawed. For example, around 55% of my PageView events are sending the same IP address instead of unique IPs per user. This completely breaks data accuracy, attribution, and audience building — which defeats the whole purpose of using a tool like this.
On top of that, there are multiple warnings (invalid timestamps, data inconsistencies, etc.) that remain unresolved even after reporting them.
And finally, the pricing is absurd for what it delivers. It’s extremely expensive, and honestly, even if it were free, I wouldn’t use it in its current state.
Overall: poor product, poor support, and unreliable tracking. Not recommended.

I first reported the issue on March 17, and even by March 22 I still had not received any real response or proper technical assistance, despite repeatedly asking for help during that entire period. In practice, I was talking to myself because nobody was actually addressing the issue.
The claim that they were responsive or actively trying to resolve this is simply untrue. I have the full conversation history, and it clearly shows how unprofessional, dismissive, and ineffective their support actually was.
Instead of taking responsibility for the technical problems and lack of support, they chose to post a misleading public reply and portray the customer as the problem. That says everything about how this company operates.
If anything, their response only further confirms my original review and strengthens my belief that this app does not deserve to be listed on Shopify in its current state.
We attempted to help this individual get onboarded through a zoom call, however, customer was extremely abusive to our customer support reps, so we made the choice to discontinue working with this individual.
We responded timely to all requests within 24hr of US working hours. Non-emergency requests which come in over the weekend are handled first thing Monday.
We will NEVER work with customers who threaten, verbally assault or berate our staff.
Moved from a competitor to Upstackified and have a very clear picture that Upstackified is a faster setup, with a much more competent team, amazing customer service, and better performance, for a cheaper price- it's not even close. Just the incremental email revenue alone covered it's cost and added a 41x ROI, not including the better data for ads.
This is not going to be an impartial review.
Ion boarded with Usted February 1, 2024 I didn’t think too much would happen from using the app so I had no high expectations. I had previously used blood out black Crow AI and was currently using retention dot com. They are not all direct competitors but they do somewhere at the same same thing with server to server tracking.
Within a few weeks I was very happy with a new customer data in my Facebook Ads Manager it’s nice to see a column that says NC sales and see NCROAS and NCCCA in platform.
He begin to go really well on my Facebook ad account I was doing pretty well I was happy with it as a matter fact I posted about a bunch of times on Twitter. Many people that I know and follow began to complain the Facebook ads was broken I did not see anything like this.
I had a conversation with Michael the owner of up Stock and I shared with him that I was having no trouble he replied to me that none of his clients were having trouble.
I had some friends were having trouble with their stores so I recommended they try up sack one after another they began to see the same results as I did for months or Facebook accounts we’re doing well what our peers were seeing who were using other products.
My theory is that MICHEAL has a product that was doing something slightly different than his competitors and I benefited from this tremendously financially. I’m spending six figures a month well into six figures a month and when you can get an edge on your competitors for two or three months it’s a big deal.
As well by the time may have arrived I had recommended probably 12 or 15 people to upstate and they had a similar experience to me many whose accounts had been suffering would turn around 3 to 4 days after being added to upStack.
I think once may arrived it appears that my competitive advantage through Michael’s product had lessened but February to May is a long time and I was happy to take advantage of that.
The good news is Micheal is releasing new products and I will keep my eye on those because as one product has done a lot of good for our brand.
