A case opens when a carrier scan reports a lost, damaged, delayed or returned shipment. Your team can open a delivered-but-not-received case on any shipment. Each case has an SLA timer, the carrier's claim deadline and a priority score. Your team refunds or reships the Shopify order from the case and exports a claim packet. A case closes as verified only after a successful refund transaction, a delivered scan on the reship, or a recorded claim payout. Requires a connected EasyPost account.
