The permissions our app requests are standard Shopify app permissions, fully reviewed and approved by Shopify before our app was listed.

They are not new, arbitrary, or hidden — they're visible on our app listing page under "Data access" and have been disclosed since install.

These permissions exist specifically because Webrex generates structured data that requires accurate context: shipping details vary by region, AggregateRating schema requires order-linked review data, and our AI crawler compatibility features need user-agent context.

Without these permissions, features like multi-region Merchant Schema and AI search optimization cannot function.

Our records also show that you have been using Webrex for 3 months, during which we provided you with a free demo call and dedicated support.

At no point during that period did you raise this concern with our team. Had you reached out, we would have happily walked you through exactly what each permission does and how the data is used (or not used).

We do NOT sell, share, or use customer data for marketing
