WRIT Allocation Guard

Cap how many units of a product each B2B company can buy per period, enforced at checkout.

If you allocate scarce inventory across dealers, Shopify can't hold each account's share across orders — native quantity rules cap only one order. Allocation Guard sets a per-company unit cap on a product for a rolling period (monthly, quarterly, annual, or one-time). Every B2B order counts against it, and a checkout function blocks units over the remaining balance. Retail and un-capped products pass untouched; cancellations and refunds restore units.
