Zipify Pages was once useful, but it’s no longer a relevant or competitive product in 2025. What used to set them apart can now be done faster, cheaper, and more flexibly with Shopify’s own tools or modern AI-driven alternatives.

The biggest problem: lock-in. If you build your site on Zipify, there’s no clean way out. They do not provide proper export options, migration tools, or even a partner network to help you transition. That means the minute you want to leave, you’re stuck — either forced to keep paying them or to rebuild everything from scratch at your own expense.

We’ve been long-time customers, but after years of investment we discovered the truth: once you downgrade or try to exit, your content is effectively frozen. No edits, no copies, no migration path. You’re trapped.

Stay away. This is an outdated, overpriced platform that survives on locking customers in rather than delivering real value. If you’re starting fresh, use Shopify’s native tools or any of the modern alternatives. If you care about owning your content and not being held hostage, do not build on Zipify.

Pages not working at all at the moment. Was being helped by Justine for about 15 minutes and she suddenly stopped...
"My day is ending here shortly, you've caught us at the end of our live chat hours. I will leave notes here in the ticket and someone will get to you ASAP."
She said that ASAP would be about 10 minutes. It's been 7 hours so far and nothing. My ads are dead in the water with no landing page to send traffic.

The app works, but to cancel they made me write to them, then they told me they 'enabled' the cancel setting on my app, which they didn't. They told me to log out, log in .. I'm 30 minutes into it and still haven't been able to cancel! Very anti-customer and a dark pattern.

I've been very frustrated with this app. Lots of work setting up integrations and getting it up running however it still does not work correctly.

I have completely lost my original theme from shopify using this app. My theme went completely white and I have lost everything that was there and had to rebuild a website with a new theme!

I built page with this product and used the link for Meta ads. I never realised that after 14 days they will remove my page. It says that it is free to create one page and although you can indeed see that there is a 14 days trial it is very disappointing that you call something free instead of trial package. It is misleading and caused me to lose money while sending people to broken page. I checked a few competitors later and didn't see anyone else calling something free and then canceling it after 14 days.

We see you had a single "Book" landing page unpublished when the 14 day trial ended on March 7th. This is expected behavior for published pages when a trial ends and an upgraded subscription is not selected. While the page wasn't technically deleted, it was not useable in your case. As a result of your feedback, our Dev team altered this logic to keep the single page published even after the 14 day trial ends.

Not good if you are on Shopify Plus and have multiple domains. Also if you care about the quality of your imagery this probably won't work for you. We have been doing everything we can to work with them with no workable response. We would go as far to say they were dismissive. We are moving to another tool.

Very good with one massive flaw

There is no seo with this, so if you want your page read by google forget it.

If you want title tag, you have to go via html, if you update your page, it will wipe out all of your seo, so what is the point in this?

Use it to build landing pages that google will never see.

For your front page, articles or anything for google, it is useless. I will update this when they fix this incredibly weak flaw. Avoid till then unless you just make nice landing pages.

The application doesnt work properly. Cant edit content. Save not working. Giant waste of time. Waste more time when trying to spin up a Black Friday page. FYI - Ezra Firestone is amazing. But this application has a lot of basic issues that render it unusuable. UPDATE: After we removed the application, we found out that all of the old theme files and scripts get left behind. Be careful with this app

Hi Good Wave. We do sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with Zipify Pages. Updates to a page should absolutely apply to the live page immediately. This is not normal behavior and there is no indication the issue on your store is a global issue with the Zipify Pages app. We can 100% fix the core functionality of updating pages. With an investigation, we can implement a permanent fix.

Store access for each situation is going to be different. In your case, we would need apps access (to access Zipify Pages) you can select individual applications. Themes access would also be needed so we can inspect for theme conflicts and update our code snippet. Orders are not needed. Settings were not needed either. Products access is needed for Product page BuyBox issues due to the way Zipify integrates with your store products. Our team takes your security and data very seriously. Regardless of what we have access to we will only use what we need and you can control our access or any app through the collaborator access section of your shopify store.

If we did need to make changes to your store we are happy to document the changes and share what was done and why.

Shopify doesn't currently have an API that allows Zipify Pages to remove files after the app is deleted. Our solution is to have the assets removed with the in-app switcher before the app is deleted.

We are confident we can resolve the issues you experience. They are not normal and we would very much like the chance to fix them. We could even fix the issues while you're not using the app but that is entirely up to you. We value our merchant's reviews and we pride ourselves on our support. We'd be grateful for the opportunity to prove to you that Zipify Pages is the right solution for your store and that we can provide top-notch support.
