Works really well. We have almost 40,000 images to update and so far the 1st 5k went really well. Could use a bit more customization to filter which ones to update, like for example by a certain tag, but the results have been really good. Will be using monthly.

Works well - we have a very large catalogue so we will need several months to work through it. Would recommend and love the feature where you can optimise alt text by products!

We didn't want to spend loads of time filling in the alt text for images and shopify's AI solution wasn't working well, it was very basic and not accurate. We came across AltText.ai and it's honestly a game changer. We grab the month, sorted all our live products out in less than 10 minutes and the alt text is brilliant. Huge time saver - for a task that nobody really wants to do, but is important for SEO. The descriptions in Standard are much more detailed than I had expected. About 5–10% of our images still need some touch-ups, but it’s nothing compared to doing it manually.

Two minor downsides:
Any remaining free credits from the trial period disappear as soon as you purchase a plan. The review request promises 100 credits in the subject line, but the email body only mentions 25. We'll see what I end up getting. -- Thanks for the 200 credits, very fast and excellent customer service!

Good app, simple and effective.
Does have a few bugs and inconsistencies.

Also can get rather expensive if you have a large prod catalogue or image-heavy site that needs to be fully updated.

The alttext.ai app produced excellent text for my products. I'm not sure if it can help with SEO title and descriptions yet.
