This app works very nicely and it's clear the developers actually put some thought into what is an efficient workflow for the user. This is often not the case, so it's refreshing to see how the developer really thought through the details. Even more importantly, the developer is very responsive to feedback and quickly incorporates useful feedback into product enhancements. All around great experience!

Barcode Man is a life saver app for me! Because, on Shopify's 'Retail Barcode Labels' app we can only print predesigned labels. With Barcode Man we can print labels in our own custom designed templates. Highly recommended app for those who wish to print custom designed labels!
I must mention that their chat support is amazing and super fast.

This app really helped us with really complex label prints for a very special customer. It handles meta-fields, barcodes, you name it. And they are very quick on correcting and implementing needed features.

I have a rollo printer, not the standard dymo printer. The shopify barcode printer and most of the others only worked with dymo sized labels. I was able to customize the size on this one and I love the ability to adjust the look to my needs & taste.

We tried the Shopify Retail Barcode app, and really struggled with it to do a good job. We switch to Barcode Man and it has been great. Much more flexible and capable. We hit an issue and they were extremely fast to respond and resolve. Highly recommend this app for barcodes!!

I needed an app for making product labels for our 150+ teas for retail purpose.
Flexibility and user friendliness was key. Before all labels text (contents, preparing instructions i.e) was written for each product and printed out from Apple pages. With the new version 2.0 we are able to sort out text bits from our product descriptions in Shopify, so we only need to create a few templates and use these to auto-create various labels. This saves us a lot of time and makes it so much easier to implement new products.
The app is getting more and more versatile. Recently we started using it for barcode labels to all stock items and price labels, making stock counting so much easier.
Finally we have been very pleased by the excellent support from Will, who has listened to all our suggestions and implemented a lot of them in the new version.

Really the features in this app should be built into shopify, but since they are too lazy to add more functionality, we are lucky to have the team at Gookit come up with a great solution. Im sure lots of customers are using this to print barcode labels on their products which it will do very well, but for our situation I wanted a way to label our shelves in the packing warehouse with helpful labels to make it easy for staff restocking the shelves and for packers to pick the correct items. The solution was to buy 50mm magnet tape, cut a 150mm strip and then stick a good looking sticker from this app onto the magnet so we can move it if we need to adjust the stock location. The app allowed me to define the exact size of the labels I was using, Add formatted text
Add a colour photo of the product automatically (it grabs the image from shopify)
Add the products barcode (in case we need that in the future) Add a QR code with it linking to the shopify product page. (This means our staff that refill the shelves can whip out their phone, when they see a shelves stock is low, and scan the QR to instantly see the product page in shopify and if we have any more in stock in our bulk stock warehouse rather than annoying the warehouse manager asking if we have stock. I was also able to automatically add the products supplier name (vendor) Now label printers are usually only black on white but I wanted to have a colour photo of the product on the label as some of our staff are visual and need a colour photo.
The solution was to purchase A4 sheets of labels and print on our colour office printer. This app even has a feature that you can select which label you are up to on the sheet. So if you have already used a few stickers on a sheet you can select the next available label on the sheet meaning no wastage of having to start a new sheet. Im terrible at learning new software but I was able to pick this one with ease and not even refer to the help screen it was so logical. Well done to the team and the smart person who designed this app. I'm very happy to recommend this one. I haven't needed this feature but you can make the QR code link to a custom url or a metafield from shopify. Improvements? The only other feature I can think of is being able to add divider lines or boxes on labels. At the time of writing I could add

It's quick and easy to use. I love the new version that I don't have to download the labels anymore I had a small issue with switching over to the 2.0 version and Will fixed it super fast. Thank you!

I have to say.. I rarely write a review for anything, but I felt like I needed to share my experience with everyone. This is a GREAT APP! It was easy to customize my barcodes exactly the way I needed them. I was a little confused about a few things at first so I sent Will a message. He got back with me really quickly and even made a short video to walk me through the issue! I had another problem getting my printer to align the labels.. Again, quick response with a solution. If you are looking for a great app for barcode labels and you don't want to spend money on a dedicated label printer, then this is the answer! Thanks Again Will!
