CartWatch has been an excellent addition to our shopify store. We started getting massive bot attacks last month, and Cartwatch controlled them within minutes. Highly recommend and support has been excellent and very quick

My small business was being bombarded by bots that were going straight to checkout. Once these bots "started checkout" (they rarely complete checkout), my Klaviyo welcome emails were being sent 30 mins later. My deliverability score went from 99.5% to 42% in 2 weeks. Once I installed this, 4024 bots were stopped in one week and only 1 bot got through. My deliverability score has rebounded a bit to 54%. Hopefully it will rebound more before BFCM. This is an excellent app to add and the customer service is very responsive. Highly recommend the $9 per month.

The app constantly watches your cart and if a headless bot goes straight to cart it can automatically stop the bot and disable it. So the orders do not go to your order page and you do not need to void or cancel anything. It's basically set-and-forget.
Let me reiterate, you don't have to worry about any negative balance on your payouts as the orders never make it beyond the cart page. It really works as intended.

Excellent support and genuinely honest advice
We contacted CartWatch while dealing with a serious Shopify bot attack involving direct cart permalink URLs and synthetic abandoned checkouts.
Although we ultimately resolved the issue using a separate firewall solution, the support from Shaya at CartWatch was excellent. They took the time to understand the exact attack pattern, clearly explained what CartWatch could and couldn’t intercept, and were completely honest about Shopify’s platform limitations rather than trying to oversell the app.
They even offered to personally review the bot activity if we installed the free plan for diagnostics.
We didn’t end up needing to keep the app installed, but the quality of the support absolutely deserves 5 stars. Very knowledgeable, responsive and refreshingly transparent.
