Extremely Disappointing Experience with CedCommerce TikTok App

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using the CedCommerce TikTok Shop integration app. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this app to businesses that depend on accurate product synchronization and responsive customer support.

The biggest issue I faced was with product/listing synchronization and data consistency. The product count shown inside the CedCommerce app did not match the product/listing count visible in my TikTok Shop. When you are managing a large product catalog, this is not a minor inconvenience, accurate synchronization and reliable inventory/listing data are fundamental requirements of an integration app.

I reached out to CedCommerce support specifically because I wanted clarification regarding the difference in product count data between the CedCommerce app and TikTok Shop. Instead of getting a clear and satisfactory explanation, the support experience became another major source of frustration.

I was having a conversation with an agent named Suryansh, and while I was still discussing the product-count issue and trying to understand the discrepancy, the chat was closed by the agent. Closing a support conversation while the customer is actively trying to resolve an unresolved technical/data issue is extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, unacceptable for a paid software service.

When you're paying for an integration service, you expect the support team to investigate the issue, explain what is happening, and stay with the conversation until there is at least a clear resolution or an actionable explanation. Simply ending the chat does not solve the problem.

Another major concern was the pricing and plan recommendation.

I was paying approximately $150 per month, even though, based on my actual requirements, I later realized that a plan around $19 per month would have been sufficient for my account. What is particularly frustrating is that CedCommerce did not clearly explain this to me or help me understand which plan was actually appropriate for my usage.

If a customer is paying significantly more than necessary because they don't understand the plan structure, I believe the company should make an effort to clearly explain the available plans, their limitations, and which plan best matches the customer's actual requirements.

Instead, I ended up paying around $150/month for functionality that I apparently did not need at that level.

This is especially disappointing because the whole purpose of using an integration platform is to save time, reduce manual work, and provide reliable synchronization between platforms. When the listing counts are inconsistent, the data needs clarification, and customer support closes the conversation before the issue is properly addressed, the value of the service becomes questionable.

I also want to emphasize that my criticism is not simply because I encountered a technical problem. Technical issues can happen with any software or integration platform. What matters is how the company handles those issues.

We were working toward a tight launch deadline and needed a fast, hassle-free solution. Aditi and the CedCommerce team provided excellent support throughout the integration, enabling us to get our products live within just a few days. It was a pleasure working with them, and I look forward to continuing to use their services.
