HeiChat has made a huge difference for our store. It’s easy to use, reliable, and really saves us time when responding to customers. The automations work perfectly, and the support team is always quick and helpful. Highly recommended for any store that wants to improve customer service.
Have been using this app for almost a month.
Pros: Simply excellent at answering store policy questions, but you really have to go to the best AI agents to get quality answers. ChatGPT 5 is amazing, a lot better than the more basic ones. When will I get my order? When are you restocking this? Do you ship to country X? Do you have a physical store? All these questions are answered better than a human would.
Average: product recommendations. Here, it all depends on your own descriptions, as the bot is limited to the info you have on your site. If your site info is detailed and comprehensive, you can get very decent suggestions.
Product search is also ok, but it is not apparent, so few customers use it.
Love the Q&A part, where you can add your own answers to common questions and bot is clever enough to provide answers that are consistent with yours yet sound more human.
Most importantly I can see it is getting better as we add more information to knowledge base, improve our product descriptions, so I am hopefully eventually it will become something that can really drive conversions.
HeiChat makes customer service so much easier! The setup was quick, and the bot replies instantly with accurate information, although not perfect and still needs some correction on our end. It understands our store policies well and sounds friendly and natural. Great tool for saving time and improving customer experience. Highly recommend!
App is great and works as it should. It has also picked up more info than i provided and helped multiple customers. We also had a technical request for lazy load support was quick to implement this.
After starting with 800 tokens, only 200 are left after 20 days.
It seems tokens are being consumed simply by the Assistant activating itself - even though no conversation took place. Something appears to be wrong with how tokens are counted.
There were only two real customer conversations, with three questions and responses in total.
Leaving just the branding visible - the AI badge - and turning off the “Callout” should be a solution, preventing token usage for automatic Assistant pop-ups (Widget settings - then Branding Settings - turning off “Callout”).
The Assistant itself is a great feature, the AI responds well made by HeiChat, but these token consumption inconsistencies are discouraging and make continued use questionable.

Edit: After further communication with the HeiChat team, they clarified the token mechanism and provided a solution. I decided to switch to another chatbot that also performs very well for my store.
Additionally, one small suggestion from me: it would be helpful to include a very short guide for users on how to ask questions effectively (and which types of questions to avoid) - this could improve both token efficiency and overall user experience. Thank you HeiChat Team.
AI is only as good as the data you put in - if you have good question banks for HeiChat, it will deliver.
Take some time to train the app, check its responses and fill in the gaps - and it will save time and energy.
I've already recommended the app to several people, and will continue to do so. A+.
Setup was fairly quick and easy, and the AI was quick to learn the basics of our store. It was nice to see that we could add custom training material (text, PDFs, URLs, etc) as well as testing various conversation scenarios from the admin-side and correct its responses before going live.
Also support was extremely quick and effective. Only had a couple minor things we wanted tweaked and they did it for us in no time.
Looking forward to a great experience ahead using this app for us and our customers!
