Strongly recommend this app for the coming soon button however the pre order element, has been devastating- it places orders on hold within Shopify with no clear built in feature to remove them - we had to build a custom flow which i believe is only on shopify plus, and does not sync inventory - we have had thousands of orders now oversold due to this app, please proceed with caution on the pre order element, like i said the coming soon button works excellent - the pre- order element, I strongly suggest being very careful.

would not recommend. When coming soon is turned on with the date set it works on website but customers can still purchase via the shop app. It ended up being a complete nightmare during my last product launch as the date and time were set to be removed on launch time, but it still showed up not allowing about half the visitors to the site to purchase because the coming soon wouldn't go away. Even after I turned the app completely off on my website it still wouldn't go away.

Thank you for your review. I looked for the support email from you and it looks we haven't received any message regarding the issue. We are always here to help and it's best to contact us as we quickly respond to any issues.
You've used the app for 1 year and apparently there were no issues before. I suspect that it was only a browser cache and clearing the cache would solve it, but we would need to investigate. Please remove the review as we didn't even had a chance to help you.

This app worked fairly well in our system but there were some very obvious issues. The app doesn't track orders in anyway after the sale. So there is Zero ways to tag or track the order afterwards. After running the app for many months we had to uninstall and find something that had tagging and tracking included. When we asked for support the developer asked us to change our review before he would help. Thanks, no thanks

UPDATE: Why do App companies always try to act like victims? Shift the burden of proof to the customer? Literally, lie to pad their reviews? This application does not allow customers to place orders when set to "pre-order" This defeats the purpose of this application. When asking for support, they just send a scripted auto-reply and never follow up. Do not waste your time on this application.

Does not work. App should work since installation. It is risky to have a coming soon product that is available for sale.

There is no longer any need for me to stay awake and manually operate the product, even if the product's global launch time is midnight.
The product will be launched automatically with a simple operation.
The fact that it can be specified for each variant, so that only one new color can be released, etc., is wonderful.
The support when I have a problem is also excellent.

The app WOULD be wonderful if it didn't drop product according to the CUSTOMER'S timezone...not the seller's. That's hugely problematic and needs to be written somewhere in the app description.

After downloading this app, my website score significantly decreased. I reviewed and it seemed that it was this app download that was the issue. I contacted shopify and this app itself. Adam via gravity software did an excellent job responding to the issue at hand. He even contacted shopify again on my behalf. Even when I didn't have a chance to respond back to Adam frequently he made sure to keep me updated. Truly appreciated. If you have any issues, they'll make sure to respond appropriately and get to the bottom of it. It turned out that this app was NOT the cause of my speed score. Would defiantly like to make that clear, and so did Adam(: Great customer service goes a long way.

I have a pre-sale sort of business. This app literally saved me hours every pre-sale as I now don't have to manually input anything, I can set the timer and it does what I used to do over hours! Love it. App developers are also very helpful and fast.

Very impressed with the app. We have some items we want people to know are coming but not confuse them in thinking they can buy it. This app allowed for a visual "Coming Soon" label in collection view and changed the add to cart button to "coming soon" with a literal flick of the button. Some things didn't look correct in my theme and the support team adjusted it right away to make it perfect. Very pleased!

Excellent App - we had a slight issue with the tabs not showing correctly but we contacted the developer and had a response withing 1 hour and the issue had been resolved.

I was looking for a way to offer my customers a chance to pre-order products, lots of options on Shopify apps, but "Coming Soon Products Preorders by Gravity Software" stood out because of their clean integration to my site.

It's easy to enable products to be either coming soon or as pre-orders.

I had a few design needs that needed to be addressed, I contacted the Gravity Software team and they were very quick to respond and did the modifications without any flaws.

I highly recommend this app.

I installed this app but dont try to uninstall it will screw all of your variants and quantities up. i am waiting for shopify to try and help me fix my site! so stressed and not one is responding from this app. beware.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Our app indeed updates the inventory policy for products that are out of stock. However there is a notification on the main page of the app:

Important: In order to enable "Coming soon" products or "Pre-order" products the system needs to change "Inventory Policy" to "Don't track inventory" for selected out of stock products. If you select out of stock products your "Inventory Policy" for these products will be affected.

Was unable to use app for collections, only individual products. Contacted the developer and the next day the change was made. Needless to say, customer service is prompt and gets straight to the point.
