Kinda works, but its highly inflexible (breaks other apps with no way of whitelisting them), the implementation is very weird, it updates your theme daily (or more) to change an expiry date. If this date is reached it wont work anymore, as a way to break it when you uninstall it. Generally this works completely without a server, so a one-time payment would make more sense. Instead they have a monthly fee for doing basically nothing after installing, other than messing with your theme.

Customer service also never answered my question for a way to whitelist scripts.

Better use another app, that ain't it.

I've been using this app for years, and it has improved my CWV scores. The customer service has been responsive and helpful as well.

It works really well at first, but with time, the speed starts dropping until it is tweaked again. Then it works for a short while and then again starts dropping. The customer service is bad: they may or may not respond. Sometimes there is no response for months. After checking other reviews I see that it's a common issue. It seems like the developers don't care for their app anymore. I'm going to discontinue their service.

I've been using Page Speed Optimizer since August 2024, so for about 6 months. I use Dawn theme and update regularly. This app works as advertised - pushing my Page Speed Insight performance score up from the 40s and 50s to the 90s across my Shopify site (blog, pages, products, homepage...). Page speed is super important for SEO and this app has positively impacted this aspect of my SEO work. The best part of the app is the customer support. Over the months I've had issues with other apps bringing my performance score down. I email Kirkland and within hours they've tweaked my implementation and solved the issues. Fast, friendly support. App works better than expected. 5 stars - definitely recommend.

I have been using this for 5 months. The concept is great, but the implementation of this is trickier than meets the eye. There are plenty of issues with the implementation and support side. It appears to work, but after a while more and more issues parts of the website/theme will break. This is only caused issues with breaking my theme in various areas that takes a long time to find out. I have been in contact with the support team multiple times, and after it repeatedly breaks the website, they stopped responding to emails. I have been left without support from the team and will no longer use this.

I have tried SEVERAL so called Page Speed tools. Some of them were very expensive! Each of the tools I've tried provided varying levels of effectiveness (from very good, to terrible). Some even broke my theme entirely. On a whim I tried this one. WOW! Our pagespeed scores have come up nicely. Not mind-blowing, but an impressive bump. We've moved from unacceptable speed levels to above average speed levels. And our Web Core Vitals are spot on now. How can something this inexpensive work so well? I haven't got a clue. But I can say this with assurance -- this app is a keeper!

It's not working even on Shopify Dawn theme...
He didn't even tried to make it work. Each consequent "fix" will decrease my store speed to around 50.
Even if the app doesn't work, they still charged me.
The first answer was a recommendation to just uninstall the app, which say a lot about their ethics.

After going through multiple sprints of speed optimization, I'm happy to say that this app is the best I've found. They even email you a link to verify the improvements on Google. I wish they worked with CSS too.

If you're considering using Speedien Core Web Vitals Plus, I strongly advise against it. This app simply does not work as advertised and it has been a source of frustration for our business. We have been paying for this app for years, yet it has never worked properly.

What's even more disappointing is the complete lack of support from the vendor. Despite numerous attempts to reach out for assistance, we have never received any meaningful help. It seems like the vendor is more interested in taking our money than actually providing a functional product or any support.

We have had enough of the excuses and wasted time and money on this app. In fact, we are taking action and reporting our experience to Shopify.

In short, DO NOT INSTALL Speedien Core Web Vitals Plus. It's a complete waste of time and money.
