I run a very small home-based business selling a niche book of railway maps. I needed a way to distribute PDF versions to my customers at an affordable price and after trying several others, I found Fileflare was the best tool for the job. Even the lowest-cost tier offers me the flexibility to run my little shop effectively.
Customer service is exactly what it should be, too. If it works this well for my little store then I can only imagine how much flexibility it will provide for larger businesses. Strongly recommended!

Excellent support and a very useful app.
Fileflare has worked very well with my Shopify store, and the support has been outstanding. Ian has taken the time to understand my particular setup and what I’m trying to accomplish with both retail ebooks and institutional resources. He has answered my questions clearly, followed up with helpful information, and never pressured me to change settings before I was ready. Having knowledgeable support while building a more complicated digital-delivery workflow has been extremely valuable. Highly recommended.

I have been using Fileflare for over a year now and I really love how it works. I would certainly recommend this as the best app for digital downloads on Shopify. Also their support team is great. They listen to you and help you if you need customizations and it just works like a charm. You can also connect it to your own file hosting if you want or you can use theirs. Also their pricing is actually the best that I found on Shopify.

Excellent app and outstanding support
We've been using Fileflare for many years to deliver ebooks and audio files through our Shopify store and have been very happy with it.
Recently, we experienced an email deliverability issue, and the support from Ian was exceptional. He was responsive, transparent about the cause of the problem, kept us informed about the fix, and followed up afterward to make sure everything was working properly. He also took the time to discuss options for improving our email delivery in the future without trying to push us into a more expensive plan.
Fileflare has been a reliable solution for our digital downloads, and it's especially reassuring to know that there is such thoughtful and responsive support behind it.

I’ve been using File Flare for a while now, and it’s a brilliant app. The customer support is exceptional! It completely solved an issue I was having with buyers sharing my PDFs—the discrete customer stamp feature puts their details right on the file, which stopped sharing in its tracks. Highly recommended!

Incredible customer service. (Especially if you want to switch services.)
I switched from Pendora because Pendora stopped sending emails without warning, leaving a huge backlog of unsent products... it was a disaster. Worse still because Pendora has no "export as CSV" function.
When I switched to Fileflare, the customer service team (Ian specifically) helped track down everyone who hadn't got their products, and email them (through Fileflare now) their exact orders. On the same day I switched.
Fileflare solved a very gigantic weeks-long headache. 5 stars.

Very easy to use app. Love that it is integrated with Shopify. The pricing is also very competitive. Service has been excellent. The only thing I wish was different is that you could send out update notices for a product not just for 1 attachment. I've used another file delivery system that was much more expensive and not integrated as nicely with Shopify. I would give this app 4.75 stars until they make it easier to update customers on product updates. (Note: it's possible that I don't fully understand how they recommend doing this so I'm open to being corrected!)
