I only gave this a 4 star because I just started using this app. I have it loaded on my shopify site, and tested it out and it worked. It looks nice and was easy to figure out how to set it up. It requires a Stripe account that you have to link to it but it is easy to do this. Once you have the stripe account you just have to copy and paste 2 keys into the ECA app. I am an agritourism farm and I needed to issue tickets so I could control how many people were at the farm at any one time. I was really worried about how to do this and if it would be very complicated. I will update this review after I have had some experience over the next month or so but I am optimistic. Also I one issue with implementation that was solved quickly by their support.

We had some issues getting this app installed correctly, and support CAN take a couple of days to respond. But I personally don't subscribe to the urgency economy and when I told them it WAS urgent, they scheduled a time to meet with me and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. So far, the app seems to be solving the problems we've had with previous event ticketing software, but I will update my review again after we've used it for a few months and know how well it deploys!

Love the widget feature and could really use this on our website but hard to justify $60/month for this (we need 7 widgets). We don't need the ticketing as it is not robust enough for our needs and use a different. Trying reaching out to the developer to see if there was any flexibility on pricing but there wasn't. Good product but very expensive.

Very slow support, you have to send twice or three times emails in order to be answered. Online chat almost never works. The calendar doesn´t look exactly as advertised. It only works in English, if you want a spanish or international calendar this is not your app.

I'm really sorry that you weren't satisfied with Event Calendar App. We're open from the start that support is currently manned by one person (me) so that means I can't always reply instantly. I do however aim to get back to people as quick as possible, usually within 24 hours.

We have many different options available to customise the calendar. If it doesn't look the same as our demo calendar, then this will just be because it's not customised the same. I'm here to help if you need any guidance with this.

In terms of multi-language support, that is correct, we currently only support English at the moment. We don't claim anywhere that the Event Calendar is multi-lingual. However, you can add events in whatever language you like, it's just that there are a few words in the user interface that currently cannot be translated.

I used this app for my events calendar on my website after going through a few different ones and I cannot express how good it is. Alex is so helpful and the service is absolutely great. Really impressed and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for this kind of app.

We think this is the slickest Event Calendar app we've seen, and was exactly what we needed. Alex is responsive to minor tweaks, but frankly, the bones of the design and functionality are great right out of the box! Looking forward to see how this develops further.

$10 per month for a skeleton of the app (with no "Buy Tickets" link or "Add Image" features).

IMHO the app actually starts at $20 per month.

5 stars for our use case.

We only use the calendar widget for presenting events.

-The calendars are easy to maintain.
-Bulk creation for repeating events works great.
-Great support

It would be nice if more raw data was shared about event clicks natively in the app.

you can't limit the amount of tickets per order. you can't set a date to end ticket sales. it's too expensive

Update: It's been more than 24 hours since I have received a response from their support team. Unacceptable. The app itself is fantastic! Love the look of it, super easy to set up. However, their customer service is atrocious. I've been waiting over 18 hours for someone to respond to an issue I am having with their app. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of support.

I love this app. It saves me lots of admin time and has great features. It's super user-friendly for both me and my customers. It took me a short time to upload all my workshops for a six month period because I could duplicate events and then correct them accordingly. Alex offers outstanding service, is ealisy available and open to any feedback. I have already recommended this app and will for sure continue to do so.

Had multiple issues and thanks to Alex from ECA he walked us through and did a lot of leg work to help us get back online very quickly and even set us up to be able to be able to better manage the calendar ourselves! Thanks again to ECA for everything! Side note: this calendar app is very simple to use and have going in minutes! I highly recommend using this!

Great app with useful and well thought out features. The possibility to edit the confirmation email sent to people signing up for events has recently been added which is really fab and makes things quick for me. Alex is really helpful with any issues and responds quickly. Would highly recommend.

Love it! would like to see a more in-depth analysis. like how many views of the calendar per day, week, month, 6 months, year, 1 quarter, 2 quarter, etc. ...graph chart showing trends with month and date. something like that. Have the ability to sent an automated notification directly to the peoples phone that subscribed to the calendar when events are added to calendar.

I have been using this app to list events and provide ticketing. It is very easy to set up. I particularly like that you can link it directly to your Stripe account and take ticket payments with NO FEES. It's amazing.

I previously tried another event app which was very poor. Event Calendar is better by far. I don't think there is another app that does what this one does.

After long search and trying many other options, I had decided to stay with this Event calendar app, because it has beautifully designed layout, and the support team behind is very responsive. I am sure there are much more complex systems available out there, but this app is under constant improvement, and since the design and structure behind is there, I am sure soon take over even the big ones. And once again, they have a support you can count on, what was a key point for us. I can warmly recommend this great app!

I tried many solutions and this one is by far the most functional and elegant. The developer, Alex, is also very helpful and has consistently responded within 12 hrs of contacting him. I'm giving it five stars in the hopes that Alex implements many of the solutions that were suggested in our communications. These suggestions will also make the $19.99/mo cost for the Professional Plan which includes adding your ticketing links and event thumbnails more valuable.
