FeeBee ‑ Fees and Deposits

We’ve been using FeeBee since January 2026, and it’s been an excellent solution for our business.

Previously, we collected a 5% tax that covered website processing costs, Shopify fees, and applicable government remittances. After the tax rules changed and we no longer needed to charge VAT on our products, we still needed a way to recover our website processing costs. Shopify doesn’t provide a native way to do this, so we installed FeeBee.

The onboarding experience was very helpful. The team advised us on an appropriate processing fee based on our industry, so we weren’t simply choosing an arbitrary percentage. That guidance gave us confidence that we were implementing a fair fee for our customers.

We’ve now been using the app for seven months, and it has consistently done exactly what we needed it to do. Initially, I was slightly concerned about the way the fee is bundled rather than calculated dynamically, but in practice it has worked very well. The fee has consistently covered our Shopify processing costs, and we’ve had no issues with the app during normal operation.

Recently, we experienced a checkout issue, and although the app was initially suspected, Tobias took the time to investigate thoroughly. He reviewed our theme code, explained his findings in detail, and concluded that another app was most likely responsible. Regardless of the final root cause, I was impressed by the professionalism, transparency, and technical depth of the support we received.

Overall, we’re very happy with FeeBee. It has solved a real business problem for us, has worked reliably for the past seven months, and is backed by a responsive support team. I would happily recommend it to other Shopify merchants looking for a simple way to recover website processing costs.

FeeBee has been a great way to add the now necessary warnings about tariffs to our US orders. The developers have been very responsive and helpful when any issues come up. Very happy with it overall!

Die App funktioniert einwandfrei! Der Customer Service ist besonders positiv hervorzuheben! Ich hatte eine individuelle Anpassung in der Darstellung der Pfandmarken auf dem Lieferschein und dies wurde genau nach meinen Wünschen in sehr kurzer Zeit umgesetzt! So wünscht man sich das!

Seems to work well so far - just started.

Ich habe ijn wenigen Minuten das Pfandsystem im Shop eingebaut.
Wenn noch ein kleines Bildchen angezeigt werden würde wäre es Perfect. Aber so ist es auch gut.
Besonders gut ist das ich Pfand und alle anderen Gebühren hinzubuchen kann.
Schon wäre allerdings wenn pro Artikel auch nehrere Fees möglich wören und der Kunde könnte wählen.

For such a simple app, it does what no other app does, applies a fee that is visible to the customer at all points during the purchasing and checkout process, and doesn't let the customer remove it.

Great app, and very helpful support!

At first, there were a few problems with the app - probably due to an outdated theme. The support team was extremely helpful and quick. The problem was solved in just a few hours!

Now the app works great and as intended!

Super app! Very simple to use but very powerful! Our use case has been a need to charge fees just to a particular market so the out of the box Shopify Markets support for configuring fees has been a life-saver. Everything works as described. I tried a few other apps but struggled until this one.

We had some additional complexities with some custom configurations in our store / apps and the FeeBee support team has been incredible going beyond to help. Highly recommend this app for anyone needing to charge additional fees for anything and want an app that just works and is easy to use.

This is the first fee app that has worked flawlessly for adding mandatory bottle deposits to my online store, as well as POS.
