We’re a bit surprised by the tone of your message and are not entirely sure what the underlying issue is, as there is no active subscription and the store currently appears to be closed.

If something didn’t work as expected, it’s very possible that there was a simple misunderstanding or configuration issue from your end, as you told after the initial setup it worked. In such cases, we’re always happy to help — reaching out via live chat or email would usually be the fastest and most effective way to get things resolved.

We recently installed Uploadly for our Shopify store, hoping to streamline the process of file uploads on our product pages. While the app functions well in terms of file uploads, we were extremely disappointed by the pricing structure.

The app works effectively only on the Unlimited plan, but the price more than doubled from when we installed the app on another store on the Unlimited plan at a much lower cost.

When we reached out to the developer to see if they could match the price from our other store, we were told it was not possible. This response was frustrating with the attitude from support, especially since they had the opportunity to secure our business for multiple stores (we were ready to commit to a second and third store). Instead, they turned down the opportunity, effectively losing our potential sales and future business.

In the end, while the app itself works as advertised on the unlimited plan, the lack of flexibility on pricing and poor customer service has left a bad taste in our mouths. We are now looking for alternatives and will not be using Uploadly for any future stores. Very disappointed.

We’re having trouble understanding your feedback and the reasoning behind it.

You’ve been using the Uploadly app since October 10, 2023, on the free plan. On March 21, 2024, you reached out to us requesting a lower-priced plan.

You claim that Anna from our support team denied your request, but that is not accurate. Anna explained that the new pricing plans are higher to cover the infrastructure costs, as the older plans were no longer sustainable.

However, she also informed you that it’s perfectly fine for you to subscribe to the unlimited plan and benefit from app credits as part of the offer.

Given this, your review appears to misrepresent the situation. We kindly ask you to reach out to us so we can clarify things further, as your review is both misleading and factually incorrect.

The app was working well on the free plan. Absolutely deplorable though that when I reached the max amount of use on the free plan there was no notification or indication the upload field disappeared from my store. I had no idea why store visits were high and sales were low, until someone reached out. No idea how many sales I missed out on because there was no way for me to know... Awful.

We were a bit surprised by your feedback, as we always notify our users when they reach the plan limit. A notification is sent via email to the main account, and additionally, a large red banner is clearly displayed within the app.

You chose the free plan, fully aware that it comes with a 20-file limit in total. By selecting this plan, you agreed to it's terms and conditions.

However we really appreciate your thoughts.

I attached my shopify lini to my TikTok page. When my customers access my shopify store through the link on TikTok they are not able to add images. They have to tap the 3 dots at the top right corner then select 'open in browser' before they can actually add images.That is too many steps. This needs to be fixed. Until then, Im out.

Thank you for your feedback! We understand your frustration and would like to briefly explain the issue: Unfortunately, the problem is due to TikTok itself. When customers access your Shopify store via the link on TikTok, it opens in TikTok's embedded browser, which doesn't support all features on some devices, especially on Android. As a result, they may need to tap the three dots in the upper right corner and select “Open in Browser” to upload images.

I have personally tested this on an iOS device, and the issue does not occur there. You can see this in the following video:

The issue mainly occurs on Android devices in the TikTok Browser and is due to the limitations of the TikTok browser. Unfortunately, we have no control over this.

We would kindly ask you to reconsider and amend the review, as this is not an error on our part and is something beyond our control. As you also mention in your new upload app on your website, it doesn't work on Android either.

We kindly ask you to recheck your review. You subscribed to the Uploadly Service on June 25 and canceled on July 4. Naturally, there will be one charge for the installation. Anna from the Uploadly support team has also explained this to you, but we haven't heard back from you.

Please note that leaving a misleading review can have legal consequences. We kindly request that you get back to us soon so we can find a solution that is satisfactory for both parties. If you forgot to cancel earlier, that's not a problem—we are here to discuss it, but we need you to respond to our emails.

The worse app. Don't download it. They force you to pay immediately without trial and their app is very bad.

we saw that you had trouble by using our app. You already installed and deinstalled the app few times over a longer period of time. If you had contacted us earlier, then we would have set up the app correctly for you. We have 24/7 customer support, so no need to leave a one star review. Just ask and we will do the Setup for you at any time.

You have to understand that sometimes it's required to first ask the support to help you out. Because each theme and onlineshop is different. The code behind your store is always different.

We have send you a developer request to help you out and to help you with the setup of the app. Unfortunately, you declined this request, so we could not help you.
