Finaloop

Finaloop helped tax season go extremely well and has given me so much time back monthly for bookkeeping. Their customer support is very helpful and wants to make sure you have the best experience. I have some unique transactions because of the nature of my business and they've been helpful with my many questions.

Every brand should be using Finaloop. The real-time data and seamless bookkeeping they provide make being able to make operating your business, and accurate financial decisions much easier. The sooner you start using it, the better.

Finaloop has been one of the best investments we've made in our financial tech stack. It easily connects with all of our banks, credit cards, Shopify and Amazon accounts and takes the guesswork out of bookkeeping. It's been a huge relief knowing that we are finally using a system that understands eCommerce finance. I'd give this app 10 stars if I could :)

The best investment you can make in your finance stack. No more waiting for an outsourced team member to take days/weeks to close your books. Real-time numbers. Real-time updates. Real-time close. As an operator, you move fast. Your numbers and finances should move at that same speed.

I don't care about the app - I just care about my books being handled accurately while I run my business.

They seem to be unable to handle AR on orders received through Shopify. If you process orders (wholesale especially) that are paid later through stripe, check, anything that isn't shopify payment processing, they are unable to handle it. It's almost as though they haven't seen the situation before where balances move out of AR once they're paid. I've been working with support for over a month trying to get this clean for 2023 taxes - well after I paid for the full "cleanup" to move onto their system - and the numbers are still way off.

The kicker is that I keep getting messages from their support about things I need to do manually in order to classify and clear transactions. If I wanted to do my own bookkeeping, I would do it on QB for less.

As for "real time" advertised, the following quote is the text that's been on my year-end closing page for quite some time. How does this meet the hands-off, real-time ecommerce accounting service that's advertised?

"Our team will review the inputs.
The process takes up to 2-4 weeks after all data is provided, but it can sometimes take as little as a few days.
We will update you if additional info is required."

I wish I found Finaloop earlier so that I would not have to waste time/money on QBO. This App is designed for e-commerce, the integration with other e-Commerse platforms like Amazon, Shopify, is phenomenal. The backend accountants are also very responsive. Although there is time zone difference(they are mostly in Israel I believe) , they reply to me as soon as they get my message (which I usually get first thing the next day if it’s in the afternoon). Highly recommend to someone who is looking for eCommerce Accounting solutions.

One of the best platforms I have used for automated Bookkeeping.

Im shocked every brand is not using this platform yet. Only a matter of time.

WORTH IT. I wasted so much time and money trying to figure out Quickbooks and was so frustrated by how overcomplicated it was. All it took was one minute poking around Finaloop and I realized: it's not me, it's Quickbooks. Finaloop is SO MUCH EASIER to use, super accurate, super user-friendly, and designed for ecomm. Sure, it's more expensive, but the cost of your time--and not having an accurate picture of your finances--is much more costly.

We made the leap to use Finaloop for our accounting and its been a big improvement. They are technically savvy and have a grasp of accounting. They are continuously adding features. It did take effort to move over our old books but they held our hand along the way, were patient and made it worth our while.
