The customer support team is very quick to answer and provides quick solutions. The integration has worked well for us so far.
Great customer service and a very simple platform to use. One or two enhancements could be made i.e. the ability to actually check if someone followed your social channels vs clicking on the link alone
Update from March 2026:
The app does not add up points correctly. When we add points manually, it sometimes doesn't adjust the total balance. This issue exists since 2 months. They don't seem to care to find a longterm fix.
The whole app is extremely buggy. Search takes dozens of seconds sometimes.
Updating the review after the developers reply:
After they sorted out how to grant us access to what we had paid for, we began installing the app. I thought they'd redeem themselves. I was wrong. It's full of bugs and feels like someone vibe coded the whole thing.
In the redeem modal, for example, they show the following completely inconsistent and partially wrong strings in the same view:
"CHF1 off every 100 Points"
"Redeem 1400 {{pointsCurrency}}"
"$14.00 off your shopping cart"
How can any of their customers put this in their store and still have shoppers trust them?
There are error messages everywhere. The strings don't translate properly. It's a complete mess. Feels like I am playing QA tester for them.
Support is basically russian roulette. There's not one agent that will take your case and work through it. You just get whoever is available and then they don't follow up and then Intercom asks you after a few hours "Just checking back in, let us know if there's anything else we can help with."
There are many words I would like to use to express my feelings and describe the application but they would probably go against the guidelines here.
To influence.io: If you're serious about making things better, have someone from your team send me a direct email and I'll send you the list of bugs with screenshots. I am definitely not going to do all of that through Intercom and then re-explain it over and over to each new agent.

They charged us, but we don't have access to the app. Support doesn't help and is not transparent about what is happening. It's a complete joke. Stay away from this if you can and don't use reviews.io. There are better and cheaper alternatives.
We upgraded our reviews.io subscription to include the influence.io "bolt-on".
But influence.io keeps showing our tier as "free" and we don't have access to the features even though we were already charged for it!
The support is a joke. Every new agent who enters the chat doesn't understand what is happening, and we need to explain it again. They don't follow up on the status, provide proactive updates, or explain what is happening.
I even get automated messages from them saying, "Is there anything else we can help you with?". Even though our problem is not solved, they are the ones who should follow up with us.

We started using reviews.io a few months ago and the team have been super helpful in getting us set up. We've had a great response from customers so far, integrations with Klaviyo works great and the platform itself is easy to use from an implementation and customer service perspective. Their AI features are brill too!
We've just implemented influence.io along with reviews.io and impressed so far. We've been able to import points and connect with Klaviyo, Shopify etc. Support have also been really helpful. So far, so good!

New to the platform and love the features on the review and loyalty side of things. Lots of features which allow for forward growth.
Support is amazing - 20 hrs a day is really useful as a business.

Always had great experiences with these guys and support has always been good as we have had consistency with our account manager kai. if we ever run into issues these have always been quickly resolved.
I believe i was actually the first business to actually begin using Influence loyalty, and we have been using it now for almost a year. It has not been without its challenges and frustrations I would say but overall i am happy, and am hoping that it will continue to improve.
What has worked well.
Great for integrations with Klaviyo so we can easily communicate our points to customers
Good support and onboarding with Jacob on point!
Integrates well with Shopify with accurate points balances (it took some time).
What has worked less well.
No functionality to search for customers by name - have to use email address which is cumbersome and not ideal. (update, this is now available..)
Very limited options for customisation on the front end - we had a custom built webpage that now is more basic and not as appealing. Hoping some more styling options will be available. Also the customisation and styling of customer emails needs some attention.
Overall I am now happy and look forward to more bells and whistles soon.
