    it might be a cool app but i didnt get enough customer support to see it in action properly.

    Kit was asking to spend 150USD in Facebook advertising in order to achieve the goal of 400usd in sale... what?

    Kit tried to promote about every other day the very same product picking it "randomly" from my shop (we have about 15products live...)

    i spent quite some time trying to make it working/fixing the layout proposes when i could have been more effective simply running the ad myself.

    it may be a very good app for big shops but i feel like that a less automated experience might be better for my customers and for myself.

    kit is a very well advertised but is not the "digital marketing expert" i was expecting


    Good Martketing App. except for the part where you you track the exact/actual sales it makes, It claims all the sales you make making the ROI hard.
    All the other features a great.
    Unfortunately it's hard to run $100+ FB ads campaigns without knowing actual numbers.
    Also ads are very basic, It needs to gives us more options/suggestions to control text and image display in ads.

    Was not helpful to me as it seems. Most things that it does, can be done without it. You can schedule posts on facebook, as well as schedule to have them promoted as ads. You can also schedule tweets now. Automating emails to say "Thank you"is in the Shopify admin, as well as other automated emails.

    It was definitely not what I thought. Its suppose to be a virtual assistant, but......


    Updated review: I love the Kit app but I wish I had more control over what is shown. The sample ads and post sent to me are usually not of my liking. I also used Kit for a "page like" ad. It ended up costing me $2 per like with the ad Kit chose to post. I did my own page like ad without the help of Kit and my page likes cost me about 75 cents per like. I'll keep testing it out but as of now I'm not happy with the results.


    At first I was a bit sceptic! But god I dont regret it. I love KIT! Great virtual marketing staff :-) Already upgraded to the $25 Pro plan as it is worth it!

    I really love the idea of this app for general Shopify users, however, if your Shopify store maintains a separate retail and wholesale product catalog and pricing, please read this to avoid frustration.

    Aside from the Priority Products which can be 100% controlled, when Kit wants to send an email marketing campaign (our bigger traffic drivers), Kit invariably links to our Wholesale priced products, creating a data breach in publishing wholesale pricing to the public. Our consumer customers have been trying to add wholesale priced products to their basket, and when they can't check out, they get angry and abandon their carts. Conversely, our actual wholesale partners don't love us either because we have published their purchase price, and even a few competitors called to thank us for publishing wholesale costs. It has been a little bit of a nightmare/pride swallowing siege. :)

    On the flip side, our overall customer response to the thank you emails may warrant keeping this app and changing up our Priority Products and skipping email campaigns (sadly) since we can't control which price level Kit will pull.

    The Kit team has worked really hard to help resolve this issue, especially Aram (THANK YOU ARAM!) but in reality, the app is tied to how Shopify is set up, and there is no solution near term. I'm disappointed but if Kit finds a work around in the future to help support the dual roles of our store, we will gladly resume using the app.


    We love it! I'm excited to see how this will help us connect with the people we want to serve. There are a few issues I'd like to see resolved (I'm sure they are already working on this). 1. Kit claims credit for Sales I make by other forms of marketing *it affects the conversion % of the ads. When I request an update on my Kit Goal they respond with a sales information for the entire store. 2. I'd like to see Kit as me who I'd like to market to or allow me to save different audiences. Once I approve an ad with Kit I have to go into the Facebook Ads manager and manually adjust my audience.Maybe this is an error on my part? Kit still earns a 5 star review because I love the interaction via text!! Lots of potential with this app.


    Kit just likes to promote one product when I have several. Sometimes I am sold out on this product and she continues to want to promote it, when I try to say that I am sold out she doesn't recognize that response so this tells me that you will never get to speak with a human and no human ever takes the time to check and see what is going on. I am going to give this a little more consideration but will probably cancel. When I tried to promote a more popular item she would not recognize my answer and continually wants to promote the only item she seems to want to ever promote. I have many items. Even when I try and change the numbers to another answer she still wants to promote that one particular item. This is not fun.
