Same issue as Glitterhound. Installed the app, upgraded to subscription...got some help initially, seems good, but now I'm having trouble actually posting to social media. It's been a week since I last emailed for support. I want to love it....
Update a week later. I got one reply with a vague excuse, essentially "we're working on it", and no response to the other parts of the problem... Now today I try to publish a review on facebook, and get this message.

Update: So, it seems there were growing pains, with this app, but I stuck with them, and am quite pleased with how it's functioning now overall. There are still little issues that crop up occassionally, but they actually do follow through on complaints, even if it takes awhile sometimes (other times it's very quick). All in all, I'm glad I stayed, good value for the money. Love being able to post my reviews to social media.
July 2025. Had an issue and the customer service was excellent, they fixed it for me very promptly, and in a friendly manner. Easy to work with.
Full disclosure first that I guess I am a bit jaded as I had a poor customer experience with Kudobuzz. I went from a Wix site using this app and moved to Shopify. Kudobuzz charged me more per annum in Shopify for the same review numbers AND I ended up with less features. I use to be able to reply to great reviews and thank customers, however l lost that feature when I moved to Shopify. The next plan level up was just too much to justify for a smaller operator like me. I am on Breakfast plan so once I get to the limit of reviews it seems to be low value for money spent. I'd probably shop around next renewal if their value is not reviewed.

The app is OK, if you can make it work without contacting tech support. My recent experience with the team has been dreadfully bad. The short version: my annual renewal failed because the app developer stores old/stale payment data, and doesn't provide any tools for customers to update it or even see it. Renewing the subscription requires getting sent a secret URL to a page that can't be accessed via Shopify or the Kudobuzz dashboard. But then the KB system doesn't process the renewal; you have to "upgrade" manually, and of course any discounts you had are gone. Then you have to re-publish all the hundreds or thousands of reviews that got turned off ("unpublished") when the account renewal failed, but the tool to do this does not actually work, and the tech support team's smug replies are slow and unhelpful. FWIW, I've been a full stack web developer for 25 years, so navigating around a web app is not something I usually find difficult, except in this case because the tools just don't work.

You should have a reminder if your subscription is about to expire, and there's a way to bulk publish reviews either via the dashboard or with our help. Great. It’s fairly effortless for customers to write reviews and for me to publish them. I get an email whenever a new review is written.

There is no admin panel to check settings, nothing since a few years now. Sometimes reviews come, often nothing is sent. Would like to change the app, but no way to export reviews.
