I use this app to find my month end stock valuations. It gives me this information in a clear and concise manner, does the job perfectly!

We were looking for a simple way to get a view of the value of our inventory and Merchbees ticks all the boxes, you can configure it to ignore negative stock values and sort your inventory to easily show and amend products without cost prices - highly recommended for the price!

The App I was looking for. Love it. No more manual entries. Is good to have an option for Dark Theme and a fixed table header.

Very useful app if you have a large inventory like I do with thousands of SKUs. Not only helps you to see COGS vs price, it also helps you to catch if you are have missing or false data for SKU, Individual COGS, Total COGS, Quantity, Price, Total Price, etc. You can also export in multiple useful formats. For $2.95/month it is easily worth it.

We love this app and have yet to use it to its fullest potential. One reason why we have stayed with Merchbees for this long is because their tech support is incredible. They not only answer my questions but follow up to let us know they have made improvements on previous questions I've asked. The app is always improving so we know this is a long term solution for us. We have just started to use this product in connection with our year end inventory status. So far it is working well for us, and I think we will stay as long term happy customers.

Finally a solution to having accurate inventory values. Quick summary: Merchbee allows you to filter out variants you want to exclude from the inventory count! Detailed explainer why this is important:
We have over 200 products in our store and some of these are package deal bundles. eg. A package deal includes 1 of product A
5 of product B
2 of product C We use another app called Bundles to create these and keep the original inventory numbers updated. So if someone buys the above package deal, the inventory of those individual products has to automatically be reduced. Product A has inventory reduced by 1
Product B has inventory reduced by 5
Product C has inventory reduced by 2
all done automatically by the Bundles app. Brilliant! But then we have a new problem because the Bundles app is showing all these package deals as inventory in Shopify (based on the amount of stock available as individual products.) In the above example if we had 50 of each of the individual Product A,B,C in stock that would allow us to make up a maximum of 10 of the above package deals (because product B requires 5 units) Shopify thinks..
Product A,B,C have 50 each PLUS
Our package Deal has 10 (that could be made using these products) and adds it together causing an overinflated inventory. We have been using other apps like Ordermetrics which does this and is very annoying. This Merchbees app allows you to exclude selected variants from the inventory count.
So I can go through and exclude the bundles and have it only count the individual products. So I went through and excluded any variant that is a 2 pack, 3 pack, Kit, Package deal and left all the individual products in the count. And then even better, I can save that as a preset and adjust it later as we introduce more bundle deals which need to be excluded. Hope that explainer helps someone. I find the app demo videos a bit useless in practical terms. Great app and worth $2.99 a month to know what money we have tied up in inventory. The only thing is doesnt have is the ability to look at a particular date in the past to know the inventory. For accounting this would be good.. Sometimes the accountant says I need to know your inventory at the end of last month. Great if you were organised and did it on the 30th of the month, not so good if you miss it and are a week or more late. Im sure Merchbees will have that as a upcoming feature. :-)

Very handy app, quickly let's us know how much our inventory is growing and if we are reaching our goals.

I used this app originally to give a year end inventory value. Since then it has come in very handy when deciding what items to put on sale. It's a quick way to view and sort inventory by category/vendor, etc. I can tabulate easily what my margins will be when running a sale.

Literally, the best and easiest way to find my exact inventory $$$$ without having the cost of the product already taken away! now I know exactly how much is on my site at any time!
