I am so glad I made the switch from Route to Navidium for my package protection needs, and it has been a truly transformative experience. After using Navidium for approximately a year, I can confidently say that it outshines its competitors in every aspect.
When I initially opted for Route, I believed it would safeguard our packages effectively. However, as time went on, I realized that Route was capturing a significant portion of our revenue. Moreover, when unfortunate incidents occurred, their customer service was lackluster and often resulted in refunds for the insurance fees paid. Dissatisfied with this state of affairs, I decided to explore alternatives and discovered Navidium.
The transition to Navidium has been nothing short of a game-changer. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and top-notch service has won me over completely. In particular, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mark during a live chat session, and his commitment and hard work were evident. He exemplified the qualities of a passionate professional who genuinely cares about his customers.
Just wanted to share that I use Navidium on our brand and literally 90% of all orders pay for this shipping insurance. I’ve had two customers ask me to cancel it because “they didn’t notice it”, but that’s pretty much it. AWESOME FREE money, if you ask me. and so far? No insurance paid out. it's also easy for customer to toggle "no" to this shipping insurance, so we haven't had any customer complain about this service. it's truly easy for customer to toggle "off" at checkout. We use 3% (you can make it whatever number you think makes sense for your business), and that seems to be the magic number. THIS APP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Wonderful app! Super easy set up. Marc was wonderful. We're now capturing revenue to offset the costs that we eat when handling returns and damages ourselves that insurance doesn't cover.
From the beginning, our experience has been completely positive. Claims are filed swiftly and our customers are highly satisfied with our resolution turnaround. There are other features within the app that we're also utilizing, however, our main goal was to process claims and not keep splitting the money with Route. We're glad we made the move to Navidium!
Great app! but it's screwing with our pixel by Duping conversions! Waiting to hear from the dev with a fix. Make sure you check your events to make sure this is not happening to you if you're advertising on FB.
2/21/23 Update: Ok so after a few weeks of digging under the hood of our Pixel set up with CAPI we noticed after doing some research that: You should NOT have the FB Pixel both on the Preference page under online store set up as this creates the duplication of conversion events.
Test it out and i suggest adding it to the FAQ on the app so others look into that and see if it helps them if they come across that issue.

I used Route for a while then switched to Navidium. It's the best thing I ever did. It's an absolute no brainer. Route provided very little help and in fact it was a pain to have them handle shipping issues and our customers didn't like it either. Better to handle on your end and provide a better experience and make more margin in the process. 5 stars.
Love Navidium, has been a huge improvement over Route who we used previously. It's been easy to use and saved us a lot of money.
This is a great app that every DTC ecom business needs to have. It's very easy to install and use (and their support is excellent if you run into any issues) and it instantly increased our revenue, as well as customer satisfaction. It's one of those rare apps that is really a Win-Win for every side. Every day you don't have this app on your store is leaving money on the table.
