Great idea but can you provide some marketing collateral or background so we can communicate it to our customers in the best way possible? Thanks!
I installed the app to see if, like one reviewer says below, an icon showed up during checkout. I tested it - it didn't. Since customers have no way of knowing that you are really doing this, it is rather useless. For all they know, we could just be greenwashing. I would use this app 100% if there were something that showed up on the website that customers could actually see and understand the contribution being made. Until it does, I will be looking for something else.

Great cause and we're onboard, but can we have some marketing collateral so we can show our customers that we care about offsetting the carbon emissions from the shipments please?

Great app but just like others have stated, wish it showed up on the customer's side so they know their orders are offset!!!

Contrary to what some previous reviews said, the little icon does show up during check out.
Overall it seems the app, icon and cause will be a nice addition to my shop.
BUT you have to be careful with your imported orders, as at the moment of writing this review it has difficulty distinguishing that recently shipped orders may have been marked as fulfilled elsewhere (Etsy, etc), and may charge you for those.
Thankfully customer service was able to sort through the initial confusions this caused and hopefully it will work as expected from now on.
Great initiative. Would that be possible to get details on what specific projects are being funded with Pachama? How was the $3.6 per ton decided?
The app is currently funding Pachama’s Jarí Para REDD+ Avoided Unplanned Deforestation project. This is a Verified Carbon Standard certified project that will be verified by Pachama using their machine learning, satellite imaging, and remote monitoring technology. The $3.60 per ton price covers the project costs to protect the existing forest, increase the biomass through improved forest management practices, and verify the project’s progress.
Love the concept but we need to be able to share to our customers the impact we are making by sharing the counter available in the app into a specific page or by having a HTML code to insert in our theme in our homepage for example. I look forward to see this happening soon so we can continue! We are ready to reduce our impact
The app is perfect except: !ALL THAT IS MISSING NOW IS A WAY TO SHOW OUR CUSTOMERS THAT WE COMPENSATE CO2!
