POS Cafe: Coffee Shops & QSR

Great app! Whats even better is the customer support. I literally had a small issue with the app and reached out to them. In 2 days the owner released a new version with the improvement (it wasn't a bug, just a layout thing). Thank you so much for the great app and service. Will be using this app for my business

Hands down one of the most responsive developers on the App Store. We’ve had multiple requests/feature changes prioritized and added. Shopify alone makes it impossible for a coffee shop to run. This app solves where Shopify falls short and makes it a home run. I love Shopify but didn’t feel like it was possible to use for a coffee shop until I saw this app. We do decent traffic and need something that’s reliable.

This is the first review I have ever written in my life — despite having countless reasons and opportunities to do so before. I always thought it simply wasn't worth my time.

After a long search for an app to manage our café locations that would actually run well on Shopify POS, I came across the founders of POS Cafe. I have never encountered people as genuinely committed to their customers as Adam and Carmel.

Them in Australia, me in Chile — hunting for tiny overlapping windows in our time zones just to tweak a line of code and get a localization working. A while back I mentioned I needed a floor plan feature, and they told me it was in the pipeline. I'd heard that from plenty of vendors before and it never went anywhere. They actually delivered!

I've also never experienced anything quite like flagging an improvement to a developer and having them message me back days later to say they'd already figured out how to solve it.

The truth is, POS Cafe works — but what's truly the gem here are its founders.

They are awesome to work with! If you run into any issues, they are on top of it. They bend over backwards to find a resolution for you. Sounds like they have a bunch more features on the way. Cant wait to see them! Highly recommended.

Awesome product and awesome service

Highly recommend this app if you are running a cafe using Shopify POS. It has made inputting orders so much easier and when paired with Fresh KDS you very easily have a fully automated ordering system, removing all those paper tickets.

We tried this for a pop-up café as we needed a better solution, hand-writing dockets was getting old and Shopify POS isn’t really built for café service.
Setup was straightforward, and although we ran into a small issue where the system wasn’t updating on the POS app, the support team responded quickly and resolved it within 10–15 minutes.
Super happy with the service and support. We ran our first full day yesterday and the experience overall was excellent.

Thanks POS Cafe for providing an option in Shopify

POS Cafe has been exceptional to work with. We have a retail store, bistro and website fulfillment business. For this reason, we opted for Shopify to be able to manage our inventory in one place. Initially, POS Cafe integrations were limited. This made promotions and running data reports difficult. We were not able to print to our kitchen printers initially either. I reached to POS Cafe and explained what we were in need of. They were responsive and worked diligently to make upgrades and find solutions. Today, POS Cafe prints to multiple printers, we can run sales reports easily and we recently found out it also integrates with a rewards program. We launched Shopify and POS Cafe 9 months ago. The printers were integrated and printing within 2 months and the reports were available within 8 months. I highly recommend POS Cafe.

First and foremost, the POS Cafe app is an excellent add-on for any coffee business.

We started our coffee business as a small micro-roaster selling our coffee beans on our Shopify-based website. When the time came to start selling drinks from a coffee trailer this app was the key to tying in our existing Shopify store with a fully functional POS system. We love the functionality to add modifiers and setting up the system is seamless. The online ordering option works very well with a WiFi printer and they are working on improving the functions as I write this review.

Adam and Carmel are absolutely amazing, have excellent values, and are ALWAYS responsive and friendly, even if our problems are self-caused :) Despite the time zone difference, they are receptive to our needs as app-users and solution-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
