We used Pricefy for around 18 months after switching from Price2Spy when we moved our website to Shopify and it went from being just about ok to completely unreliable in that time.
Constant issues with it fetching incorrect prices or competitor URLs becoming deactivated. Tried many times to deal with their "support" to be constantly told how great their service is, they don't have any issues and it must be my fault that things aren't working, URLs are failing, prices are reported wrong etc.
My email to them:
You say you don't see any issues but all except 10 of my 608 URLs for "competitor1" are showing as "scraping failed".
"competitor2" - virtually all URLs have failed
"competitor3" - virtually all URLs have failed
half of "competitor4" URLs have failed
all of my "competitor5" and "competitor6" URLs have failed
I've found multiple URLs for other retailers that were previously working and now failed with a 404 due to the last character of the URL suddenly being missing, I didn't change these URLs...
Pricefy started off as a decent service with very few issues, but it's becoming less reliable and you've added a limit on the number of URLs we can add
Something has obviously gone seriously wrong somewhere.
Their response:
By the way Simon, if you think we aren't reliable you should change your mind
we analyze 1 billion urls per month
with 98.5% of success
at 1/10 of the price of our competitors
maybe the only thing to do here is to review your setup
So I did review my setup and moved to Prisync, all prices reported accurately, zero issues and their support seem great to deal with (unlike Paul).
Pricefy platform is really easy to use and this app helps us a lot in daily operation with our webshop.
The customer service team is great. Every time we had a question or needed support, they got back to us quickly with clear solutions and with an open mindset.
Highly recommended!
We’ve had a very positive experience using Pricefy for our Shopify store. The app is straightforward to set up, works reliably, and has been very useful for managing pricing and keeping everything organized across products and variants.
One of the things we like most is how much time it saves compared to adjusting prices manually. The interface is clean and easy to understand, and the automation features make it much easier to react quickly to changes or run pricing updates efficiently. Even with a larger catalog, the app performs smoothly and does exactly what it promises.
Another strong point is the support team. They respond quickly, are helpful, and genuinely try to solve issues or answer questions instead of sending generic replies. That makes a big difference when running an ecommerce business where speed and reliability matter.
Overall, Pricefy has become a valuable tool in our workflow and we would definitely recommend it to other Shopify store owners looking for a practical and reliable pricing management solution.
